Life is an instant that lasts an eternity. We are all concordant energy flowing from and returning to the same unfathomable source. We are a part of everything that ever was, is, and will be. Even if our shallow concept of "life" ends at different times for what we have decided to define as individuals, the energy/matter that was us continues to be a part of this interconnected web of existence. (This could crudely be defined in the form of fertilizer for plants, or molecules in the air breathed or water drank by our descendants – I simply explain to my children that my grandfather is a part of nature now.) Our energy will always be here, but the consciousness that you and I share right now is simply our unique chance to be self-directed energy.

Very fond of (especially late-night) conversations that shoot wildly off on tangents, yet continue to become more insightful as they connect common & important themes.
A little sad that I was born too late for my family to be Terran pioneers, yet too early to be space pioneers.
Convinced that our existence would be more meaningful if our culture wasn't so obsessed with "measuring time" and living our lives in strict subordination to this ridiculous social construct.
Deeply disturbed by the manner in which resources and roles are distributed in an industrialized society.

Probably better suited to a tribal lifestyle, with hunter-gatherer traditions that support a small & close-knit society well within the carrying capacity of their home range.
Feeling socially isolated, and not stimulated by the shallow interactions that many people around me seem to be content with. Hoping that I can start interacting with some deeper thinkers on here, but I'm beginning to wonder if anything less than leisurely face-to-face talks will satisfy that need.
