| Life Philosophy | Every day I see a lot of ugliness in the world, but I see quite a bit of beauty too, in both the simple and the complex. I went through some dark days back in high school, but then one day I fractured my C-1 Vertebra and was only alright thanks to a birth defect. Since I recovered 5 years ago pretty much every day has been a good one. |
| I am... | Hi, I'm Greg, as the name implies. I have ADHD and have gone through a couple of near death experiences (broken neck, nearly bleeding to death in the Massachusetts state police barracks (thats actually a much funnier story than it sounds like), and as a result I think I see the world through a different lens than most people. The same things are there, but different things come into focus. |
| Quotes | "Being realistic is one of the most common paths to mediocrity" – Will Smith "Learn like you're going to live forever. Live like you're going to die tomorrow." – Gandhi (Even though I don't like him at all this is a good quote). "The mistakes I've made are dead to me. But I can't take back the things I never did." – Jonathan Safran Foer "The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction needs to be credible." – Mark Twain "You better take care of me, Lord. If you don't, you're gonna have me on your hands." – Hunter S. Thompson “Don’t seek happiness. If you seek it, you won’t find it, because seeking is the antithesis of happiness.” – Eckhart Tolle "He who rides the tiger cannot dismount." – I forget his name but someone wicked Badass "The most common lie is that which one tells himself; lying to others is relatively an exception." "The frog is almost 500 million years old. Could you really say with much certainty that America, with all its strength and prosperity, with its fighting man that is second to none, and with its standard of living that is the highest in the world, will last as long as… the frog?" – Catch 22 |
