Life Philosophy

Live. Be Happy. Learn to slow down, experience life one breath at a time. Do exactly what feels right and good to me without saying 'I can't'. Embrace the human experience. Mostly importantly, Love.

I am...

20 years old, a Hippie, I love green growing things, the smell of fresh earth, flowers, the wind, thunder and lightning, the silent stillness of winter, the patchwork colors of autumn, the sunlight coming down through the green leaves in the trees. I am learning to be a Traveling, Plant Spirit Shaman, Healer, and Teacher. My goal is to learn how to heal the human body mind and soul, and give that knowledge to anyone willing to use it.

Quotes

"Be change you wish to see in the world" -Ghandi

"It's just a ride and we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money, a choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one." -Bill Hicks

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.”
― Terence McKenna

"Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without" -Buddha

“Love isn't finding a perfect person. It's seeing an imperfect person perfectly.” -Sam Keen

“You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the universe is your responsibility, because the only understanding of the universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding.”
― Terence McKenna

“It's clearly a crisis of two things: of consciousness and conditioning. We have the technological power, the engineering skills to save our planet, to cure disease, to feed the hungry, to end war; But we lack the intellectual vision, the ability to change our minds. We must decondition ourselves from 10, 000 years of bad behavior. And, it's not easy.”
― Terence McKenna

“We have to create culture, don't watch TV, don't read magazines, don't even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you're worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you're giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told 'no', we're unimportant, we're peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.' And then you're a player, you don't want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”
― Terence McKenna

“I’ll try to be around and about. But if I’m not, then you know that I’m behind your eyelids, and I’ll meet you there”
― Terence McKenna
