Hello everyone my name is Jesus (or Chucho as they call me at home) and love to talk about …well life (and before… and after) and for the last 5 hours it’s been a pleasure reading all your topics, so decided to share this beautiful “trip” we (me and some friends) have here in Mexico City.
We started as a little group, of 3 persons trying LSD for the first times, which after several weeks of spending time together sharing everything we ever knew (ideas, fantasies, books, others peoples ideas, insecurities and everything in our minds) realized about the importance of living in and as a community, but not one of those big communities (cities, states, countries) but one with a feasible way of letting its member, in words of Jack Kerouac, to communicate with complete honesty and understanding (and well for us acid was an easy short cut to communicate this way). We started living things together, taking serious care of each others emotions and feelings about how each one of us confronted life, after a few months we wanted to do this with everyone else but also a serious need of keep talking about everything new that was happening to us persisted (We can’t spend much time without asking about our new ideas or experiences of everyday)
Now we are 9 persons which live together in the same house as a community, we are not fully sustainable but we try to consume as much as we produce, sometimes possible others not (bringing water to Mexico City is quite expensive, so we need to pay for some service as everyone else at unfair prices) but we try everyday to make each others lives full of different experiences and helping us in every way as possible for the last 4 years we been living good an full-fillings days sharing our “viajes” or trips as we call them.
We have found limitations to this experience of course, some people are not willing or interested to share and communicate with complete honesty facing situations with drugs involved, others are just in very different viajes so they’re not interested in this one, and it’s ok I think the acceptance of everyone trips is a very hard thing to do and we also are only looking to integrate people with similar interests as ours also it’s important to note that LSD is not for all the people and some of us don’t take it anymore others keep doing it, it’s not important now because “el viaje” its to communicate with complete honesty and understanding with each other, based in the confidence build on the different experiences we have had.
Maybe smaller communities work better than big societies or nations, in our experience it does. I’m not claiming we found a solution to anything, but sometimes in our home it looks like those ideas of equality, progress, democracy and justice apply only outside of our group and when we interact with other people, between us we know each one of us.
Pleased to share this hope to hear about You, and maybe someday find a way to communicate in the same manner with more people as we currently do it
