Went for my jog down the beach this morning and discovered a Buddha, submerged beneath the sand. It was very low tide, and under the receding waves I saw some yellow sticking out. I had to dig, and discovered a Buddha statue. It was large and heavy – I carried it back to the Beach Lodge where I live. I have put it in the lounge.
Just damn curious from whence it came?
Anyone lost a Buddha? Anyone leave it there for me to find? Anyone with answers, lemme know!

@darryl, That is amazing. Definitely treat it as a sign. The Universe gave you a Buddha, wonderful! Please post an update when there is a follow up story!

@seeker, I posted a pic under the images. Also under abandoned buddha – bad shot I’m afraid. I run a backpackers / lodge in Cape Town, and have some gentleman working for me that are christian. I thought it prudent and considerate to ask them if it would be fine to put the Buddha in the lounge. Had a perfect location for it! But alas, as you might have guessed, the idea did not gel with him! So I thought I best be respectful and instead give it to a little music pub down the road that I habitually frequent. There is a garden oout back where one can smoke stuff, they make a fire at night, and you can sit around with cool people and converse. So they were happy to host him. I took the shot last night and didn’t realize how dark it was. Will try later sometime to get a better picture that will reveal him more to you all.
