I only added the code in yesterday so the ads aren’t popping up that often yet, maybe 10-20% of the time. I promise I will never have pop-up ads haha. These ones pop up a video over the site if you hover over them for 3 seconds or click on them. I’m going to be trying out a couple of other ad formats also to see what works best / is the least annoying.
I’m not allowed to ask people to click on the ads but you can do whatever you want ;) Donations would also be helpful, even in very small amounts. The numbers do add up, especially with this many members.
I’m also experimenting with two affiliate products that I will most likely be promoting on HE. One is a ridiculous memory system that promises the ability to memorize anything (so far I have no doubt about that) and the other is a bracelet that tracks your sleep and communicates with your iPhone/iPod/Droid/Blackberry via Bluetooth. I’m stoked about them both because they really go along with the content on HE.
