I just dropped into Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and I have literally no contacts up here.

Where do I go to meet people? What do I do? Why is this bus system so confusing?

Walk around somewhere where your interests lie; libraries, book stores; music venues, cafes, parks, computer stores, whatever you’re interested in.

Strike up conversation.

People around here are typically very friendly and affable, and it’s easy to meet people when you meet them somewhere you both have a taste for. Just be open, and non-threatening, friendly. Pretty easy qualities to project. :)
