CAMPING!

3 years, 11 months ago

Hey guys! I’m going camping soon, and I need some fresh ideas on what to do. Usually, we go tech-free and just get in touch with nature, talk, etc. But I need some more adventerous ideas. If you have any experiences you would like to share, please feel free too!

You should totally bring some sports equipment! Volleyball, disc (frisbee), soccerball, etc. Always fun, camping is incredible.

Take a camera so you can take nature home with you.

Maybe you can turn it into a game. See how many wild plants and animals each of you can identify.

Go around to different camp sites & see how many new people you can each meet (kinda like how guys will have competitions to see how many chicks they can get—see how many new friends you can make). If you get enough people–a game of softball is always a blast! So don’t forget bat, ball & gloves :)

Pick a direction and walk until your tired. Then turn around and walk back. Walking off trail makes me feel like no one has ever been there before (even though it probably isn’t true).

Silence in nature is one of the busiest and most beautiful silences.

I usually prefer to bring some mushrooms along when camping. Haha, make sure you have a trip-sitter though.

find some good games to play with a group of friends.. not like board games but games such as wink murderer or 20 questions.. games like those are always fun in a social setting and around a campfire! I also enjoy having a deck of cards while camping.

carve something :) make sure you have a carve-sitter though :) i.e., don’t cut yourself and have someone close ready to bandage just in case..
