So I just finished my first week of cold showers today. I found it funny how in the morning routines discussion a bunch of people said they took them. How many people are taking them and since when??

We have a thread about this from a while earlier, and it seems like many HEthens are taking cold showers. Mostly dudes though.

I’ve been doing cold showers for about two years I think. For me it began as a way to get rockwool out of my skin.

I’m a girl and i do cold shower :)
If any girls out there finds it hard to do, then here a little tip:
I know this is against the idea of cold showering but it’s a start.

Start the shower on half the heat that you are used to(still to hard-then do it one third colder)
Then wash hair and what else you do and then when you are nearly done and by that i mean the last ritual you do in the shower (I was my conditioner out) then turn the heat down so that you are just able to stand in it-push youself at this point JUST DO IT! :)
When you have done this for some showers try turn the heat lower and lower and at last you will be cold showering :D

Hope this will help :)

I just recently started cold showering. Although it’s only been a couple of days I already feel better when I get out. I haven’t reached the coldest temperature yet, but I decrease the temperature colder and colder everytime I shower. I’m hoping to no longer have to be so reliant on lotion. I will still use it on my legs after shaving, but shaving in a cold shower is difficult the first few days. I am slowly adjusting and I no longer have the urge to take a warm or hot shower. I also started the “no shampoo” challenge. It’s been 4 days and I already notice a wonderful difference in my hair. Shampoo really is unnecessary

@kels, Been doing them for a couple of months and all I gotta say is that I feel energetically revitalized every time I take them. They also strengthen your immune system.
