So recently I have been finding a lot more free time in which to read. I moved to Chicago from St.Louis and a problem that has arisen is that there has ben a great change in the sounds of my surroundings. Back home I lived out in the woods so it was much quieter and therefore I could read better. However, now that I am in the city I live in an apartment with noisy roommates and the sounds of trains and cars passing frequently. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I need some ideas of music to help down out "the noise". I have roamed youtube in search, but I’m really interested in a certain album or artist that I can just throw on and let it play for long periods of time. I figure I’m probably not the only one with this problem, so I wanted to ask all you fellow HEthens what your favorite recommendations are :] thanks |

Hmm, you may like the band called “pinback.” Or at least some of their music. Its kind of an ambivalent music that drowns out other noise. My other focus music is Tool. lol. |
