Conscience…What is that?
When I contemplate this question…wow…just wow. It completely blows my mind away. Just to think that we have awareness, and we can grasp the meaning of so many ideas, and our level of thought and detail. It’s all…completely overwhelming.

@secretcow, I believe you mean conscious.
As for the answer, I would suggest doing a search on the site for blogs and discussions about the conscious. There have been many many discussions on this topic. But hey, you are definitely on the right site for this topic :)
conscience…. asking about the origins of consciousness is really a question of morals and ethics- where do they come from? what defines good vs bad etc.
the conscience is the essence of the self… it is almost like the inner dialogue- multi faceted too :)
there are a million different arguments for these- some would say its based on our association and upbringing, or its a fundamental part of being human, it’s from God, or that it doesn’t exist at all and is in fact a social conditioning response of the mind to our experience (and that man really is only chemical reactions- with the aim to survive).
I guess it’s something which everyone has a theory on- your definition will differ but it’s a definition that isn’t stagnant (the conscience is always developing- just like the self)
I believe conscience is influenced by our intuition. It’s our core and center that keeps us balanced. Its the energy that we send out into the universe that attracts. Its our heart our neurocardiological energy, and guiding light.
Most of all, the conscious is the divine, which is in all of us.
Conscience – The inner sense of what is right or wrong, the ethical & moral principles that controls or inhibits the actions or thoughts of an individual.
Consciousness – Self-awareness of the perception that we all share.
