Create financial abundance.
This seems to be a huge thing on the internet. Everyone’s looking for the easy way to get rich and want the answers step by step to get there. Reality check: You wont find your answer for the most part unless you really search for hidden information that successful people use. Even knowing these secrets, it is still only part of the equation. You must actually apply them to your life and it takes determination and will power.
Ever heard the saying “mind over matter”? Well this is incredibly important in the route to success. Your mind and intellect are the most powerful tool for generating success. Think about your mind like this: You have a field and you can plant whatever you wish in the field , no matter what you plant the field will grow the crop for you. The field doesn’t care what you plant in it. So you can plant a poison crop or a wonderful tomato plant. Both will harvest abundantly but its up to you what you want to plant.
So what does this mean? Well it starts by changing the focus/intention of your thoughts. If you look back at events and different times in your life you will find that when you were in a postive state of mind your life seems to flow better and good things happen. The exact opposite when you’ve been in negative mindsets. So, knowing this what you need to do is take your positive thoughts and focus them on success. This success can be whatever you wish but what we are talking about here is money. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HOWEVER IS KEEPING YOUR THOUGHTS POSITIVE AND FOCUSED ON YOUR GOALS. So you want 1 million dollars in say 5 years? Visualize this everyday with a calm focused mind. The opportunity will present itself to you in some way but you must keep an opened mind and be willing to take risks.
Theres much more to this but essentially your actions follow your thoughts so if you have your thoughts and mind in the right place you will get to your destination. This is just a taste. Im on my way to my route of financial success, I hope when I get there more people will listen to what I have to say so they can too can achieve what they want. No one wants to worry about bills and living pay check to pay check.
Almost all the great spiritual teachers through time have said that whether you are happy ultimately depends on how you feel about yourself on the inside, not whether you have a nicer car or a betterpaying job than someone else.
Telling people they can achieve happiness by acquiring more things just reinforces the mindset that’s leading us to extract more and more out of the planet and that will ultimately drive our culture to extinction. The Secret would have had a more powerful spiritual message if it had helped people realize this.
A change in consciousness is a change in perception—a change in how we see things. The real secret—and it’s only a secret because we keep forgetting it—is that we always have a choice in how we see, experience and interpret reality. That is what determines whether or not you’ll be happy and find peace.
@tigerturban, Cool dude! Thanks for pointing out the obvious!
@splashartist, Captain Obvious to the rescue!
@splashartist, ” Everyone’s looking for the easy way to get rich and want the answers step by step to get there.”
I am definitely one of those who is looking for this answer. But I don’t expect there to be such a thing as an “easy” way to get rich. Even actors, athletes, and rock stars put loads of time into their respective crafts, they just make it look easy and the media doesn’t help because it focuses on where they are now, and not how much work it takes to get there. No, I am not looking for an easy way. But what I am looking for is a real way. It isn’t hard work that worries me, it is wrong work, dumb work. For example, most jobs – no matter how hard you work, you will still just barely make enough to eat and make the bills with maybe a few distractions here and there, just enough to keep on existing to do it all over again until you lose your mind or your hope. I want to find out a good place to start so that I don’t waste all my time barking up a tree that leads to nowhere. I am willing to work hard if I can be sure that I am also working smart, if that makes any sense.
Which leads to where I get confused. When I began college, I tried to look up the most lucrative jobs out there so I could pick a major that would get me there. I now see in hindsight that was not a good way to use that opportunity, because for one, you can’t get rich fast enough for it to matter as long as you are an employee (even CEO’s are employees, and many of which are well beyond their healthy years), and two, it was a narrow mindset, college is in some ways a good chance to really find yourself. Anyway, the point is, I’m sure we can agree that some skills are more lucrative than others. But what if you are just not interested in these skills, are you doomed to poverty then? For example, if I knew a lot about construction I could start a construction business, but I don’t think I will ever wake up in the morning with the feeling, “CONSTRUCTION TIME, YES!!!!” Right now I’m interested in writing a story and music, but I will be honest, I am nowhere even close to being good enough to make a living on them since I started them late in life. And I don’t have any specialist knowledge, or family recipes to start a restaurant, or any obvious advantage.
And you say “Reality check: You wont find your answer for the most part unless you really search for hidden information that successful people use. Even knowing these secrets, it is still only part of the equation. ”
This information is hidden, so how will you know it when you see it, and not just waste time? Obviously it isn’t taught in school, so where do you even begin to look for this information?
tigerturban, I don’t think he is saying that money = happiness per se. But as he said, “No one wants to worry about bills and living pay check to pay check.” I have lived this way, it is frustrating as all hell. With it comes a feeling of despair, it felt like nothing I did mattered, that I would never get anywhere. I always say, money doesn’t buy happiness but it sure does buy an end to many sources of frustration.
@theskafish, I just gave the information to you :) you are over thinking it way too much and that is only going to lead you to where you dont want to go. Don’t worry about the details, the Tao will deal with the details. All it cares about is your intention and mindset. Do what excites you and focus on success and it will come, that’s all you need to worry about. Obviously work hard at what you want to do but trust me it doesn’t have to be that difficult. I’m going to be a millionaire in a couple years if things go as planned and it has been ‘easy’. Just focus your intention, meditate and create an appropriate environment and you will succeed. The world works in mysterious ways!
Also, my mother cannot work due to an injury thats lasted years and is on her way to poverty. I would like to give her money so she can retire comfortably.
