Critical Advice?

2 years, 4 months ago

I’m not new to High Existence but I have only just created an account because I know the community is full of creative, further thinking individuals, I wondered if anyone would take a look at my blog. This isn’t a advertisement but merely I wanted intellectual opinion on my works as I write about broadening minds etc.

Thankyou :)

I am a programmer and i think from a technical side , the page is just OK. It looks clean and it’s nice for an eye but i think that there might be a problem with a menu. When u will have too many posts there can be a mess.
On the non-technical side I think it’s great. You are able to “put your thoughts on paper” , you don’t fly aorund the topic u just go straight from beginning to end.
And finally about contence, It’s interesting but not very discovery. If u read some posts on this site u will find almost exact things that u have on your blog. But hey it’s your blog not a wikipedia u have a right too and even u must to write about the things you thought about or what are you interested in. Keep on posting , good luck. I will visit it from time to time

Why attempt to further others minds? You claim to have furthered yourself enough to do so for others?

@cognizantelephant No I never claimed that in anyway. It’s not an attempt to furthers others minds but discuss topics that might lead to a debate which would aid me and the reader. I am neither arrogant or elitist, so I find that comment almost a stab. I came on here for advice not to be questioned on something that promotes positivity and merely tells people of my opinions and invites them to argue with me if they wish. My ‘broadening minds’ statement referred to my mind as well because I believe i have much to learn by putting my opinion out there and having others add to it or argue with it.

@maikelos27 Thank you for your constructive criticism – thing is I only just opened it and don’t pay for it so it’s a standard lay out until I can do anything different with it. I understand that its not eye opening stuff to all of you on high existence but a lot of it is personal philosophy that I thought would interest people that maybe, unlike high existence, haven’t heard before. Thank you for all you have said and the encouragement it was helpful :)

@zoevega, Please don’t take offense, I’m just interested in the reason your doing a blog about that particular topic area. I asked those questions to get a feel of who you are. To me, your blog, seems like a stepping stone that provides more questions than it does answers, and I like that. It hints at new-er type questions that have yet to be defined by most people, and provides a pretty accurate idea of how our the state of the world is at the moment.

i’m also using wordpress, maybe we could trade links and exchange traffic. My site is still in progress, but I could add a tab for links to other blogs like yours. Just a thought. Good luck stepping out into this world. The workers are few but the harvest is GREAT!!!
