Do crystal adults have the same psychic abilities as crystal children? Like telepathy and telekinesis, or are those only the base attributes to grow into a crystal adult with separate abilities or purpose? I know that it means we’ll have a deeper conscious understanding, I’m just curious as to exactly what everyone else thinks will stand as defining of the new age of humans, whether that means we’ll all be superhuman or Christlike or both. I’ll be a 19 year old indigo shortly and am just curious as to what my (possible) future might hold after the coming shift :B

@ Chris [Believing that were more than just base chemicals simply because you read something that told you to believe so.]
You read somewhere that we’re nothing more than chemicals and mathematical processes. And now you believe it. You can’t see/hear/feel/smell/taste the chemicals and you can’t see/feel/smell/taste/hear the maths, so they’re nothing but thoughts. There’s no proof at all. You have no proof to support your idea and you have none to render mine invalid. You’re just projecting, it’s all an illusion in your mind.
I don’t believe what I believe because I read so somewhere, I question everything. I believe what I believe because I can SEE and FEEL it around me, It’s first-hand knowledge, not second-hand “knowledge” like what you read somewhere. If you don’t experience it yourself/do it yourself you DON’T KNOW it, you just THINK it’s true. You don’t question stuff enough.
Don’t be such an ignorant fool.
Or its simply that the world is changing due entirely to the emergence of technology. Science has created an entirely new world. Free thinking is encouraged rather than repressed, fewer people live their lives in peasantry, and we have more free time to simply sit back and think.
Its kinda like a neo-enlightenment. Rebellions in countries by the youth. Why? Education.
If you believe the “gods” have placed us here because its time for us to change you need to pass the pipe. I want what your smokin.
I would say this current trend of global enlightenment would have occurred centuries ago had the emergence of Christianity not repressed science and philosophy in the western world. Religion is the greatest impediment to global understanding and peace. Second is greed.
biggest crock of shit I’ve ever read, concentrated in one thread.
Reading people isn’t some kind of magical ability, its just watching non-verbal communication.
Falling for a “mediums” reference to you as a crystal child is just READING you and then telling you what you’d like to hear, so hopefully you come back ($ in hand).
Sure dude. The world revolutions occurring are part of growing up. Happens in everyone’s lifetime. Maybe the human race is ‘growing up’ would be more accurate. I don’t see how anyone can look at what is going on in the world and not thing anything is happening.
@blankey, Sometime between now and 2013 we will have our solar max. The sun is the most active and will have a lot of solar eruptions and solar flares. We haven’t gone through one with the amount of technology and technology dependence we have before. If it destroys our transformers and all the lights go out..well I think that would really shift the consciousness of people on this planet. We would have to redesign how we live.
@spaceangelmichelle, try to get over the label of indigo/crystal and see what you find. What if you somehow found out you aren’t a ‘crystal’? Would you be upset? If you would be upset, that probably means that the fact that you really aren’t crystal would be taking something away from you, odds are that it’s probably more of trying to give yourself a special identity.
@Jeff [[humans that believe they are capable of such things will be able to after the entry into the new age. (one of my theories)]]
The concept of what’s realistic and supernatural are mostly illusions. I bet you’ve heard the quote “Whether you think you can or think you can not, you are right.” There’s no need for a change of age to reach your potential, it’s all about the strength of your mind. If you do believe in “supernatural” powers and you make yourself know your powers to be the truth, you can be sure you will achieve it. If you doubt at all, you won’t.
Awesome things are bound to happen when the switch occurs, that’s for sure. But still it’s all about belief. Truth is just a thought that you keep repeating, which becomes your reality. The most advanced people on earth all know this, but there are some people who delude the masses and hide the truth from them, for their own greedy desires.
Don’t let others control YOUR life, it’s yours and you create its content.
As a site I love that it is open minded and I really try to reign in my cynicism and natural skepticism, the site does need at times I feel an extra injection of critical thinking but I really must give out a heart felt plea not to devolve into the negativity we experienced recently with that series of god awful debates centered around one poster.
At some point we just have to lay out our ideas and step back and allow that from my perspective “some people will believe in a load of nonsense” and from their perspective “their goes another close minded cynical bastard”
:D Please folks try and keep it light hearted and not be too confrontational, I’ll try and take a pinch of my own advice while I’m at it.
@Alex Real knowledge isn’t based on assumptions, opinions or thoughts. That’s just belief. Real fact is what your senses percieve when your mind is still and open, something that just is.
Man, an insect knows more about reality than most people do, because the insect can’t make up fantasy realities to deflect actual reality like 99.9% of the human population do.
People spend their whole lives walking around in a daze of false knowledge. And they’re usually very quick to preach their shit to just about anyone. The more you know, the more you know that you don’t know much at all.
@blankey, also.. I am in the same boat with you in the whole right/ left brain dispute. And I, too, have heard the leap year refutation and it makes sense to me. Although many other tribes and peoples have had extremely similar prophecies circulating their teachings for years. Not sure what to believe anymore!
I have a long day of work ahead of me so thanks for the video :) You pretty much stated exactly what I believe. There are infinite possibilities and I like to think about them. This website brings an interesting mix of skeptics and mystics together, and there are no wrong answers until someone’s being a douche unnecessarily.
If mathematics is your belief, then you should know that mathematics state that there will always be truths that are not provable. You see, mathematics to me is probably close to how you feel about it, and do you see how differently we interpret its implications? That right there is what is amazing about humans. Same information, different outcomes. Some things are just true, and we will never be able to prove them. We can try, but we’ll hit a dead end. Makes for great conversation though.
Also, if math can explain all things, then what does that actually say about everything? I guess that would mean things are the way they are because it is the only logical outcome. That can take an infinite amount of shapes and ideas. Could mean telepathy is possible, could mean a god might exist, could mean that we are actually what the inside of nothingness looks like, etc. etc. etc. Math does not tell us why things are that way, math lets us see a reality way before we actually observe and understand it. Math is like an artist with that sense, much like musicians are with sounds, etc. Math says a lot for me personally, and to me, it limits our ability to learn everything, while at the same time giving me a comfort to explore logic, and thus the ability to form my own opinion, and thus the drive to learn, and thus ambition to live.
@manimal. Personal knowledge is different from real knowledge. There is, you could argue, no real knowledge. Science is our greatest tool for discovering ‘truths’ and its all based on one assumption or another. Even personal knowledge is based on some assumptions that you know are true, but you cannot prove.
One of my biggest pet peeves with things like this is when they make the symptoms of it as generic as possible.
Are you experiencing the same shit everyone else is? Probably means our a crystal adult. Or an adult on crystal meth. Sounds like more Scientology nonsense.
“Physical symptoms can include weight gain then loss (bloating feeling that comes on for a few days then back to normal you go, then back up again and so on), acute aches in certain parts of the body, lethargy, anxiety attacks, manic episodes, and anti-social behavior.”
Now if were talking about the age of Aquarius then yeah, maybe.
You actually sound like a friend of mine named Tyler. He believes he can materialize things. Such as red lights turning green right as he approaches. Cigarettes, Orange Juice, etc. I know hes just convincing himself coincidences are conscious but he used to do alot of acid.
Whats your excuse?
@ Ellie, well yeah probably not, but you can’t tell me you don’t have many preset notions about what flying is, and the possibility of it. Even if we currently believe in something, our subconscious plays a big (if not bigger) role. I think there are limits to this though, like you were saying, however I feel like the limits are ones we impose on ourselves. I’m sure if every single person on the earth believes we could fly, then maybe we could..who knows because everyone will probably never all think the same thing. :)
@ Alexa. I’ve watched this a few times before. :) We are very unaware of our surroundings. I mean we know a lot, but a lot of what we know is assumptions, and just a general idea. For example, aren’t refrigerator magnets supposed to be impossible based on the way we look at science? If light slows when it goes through glass, what speeds it back up after it passes? That is also supposed to be impossible. I’m off topic a bit, but our universe does contain at least what seems to be impossibilities.
@spaceangelmichelle, no but I’m saying, what if you somehow found out and became aware that you’re just making all of this up. Hypothetically. Of course no one else can tell you what’s true and what’s not. This realization would have to come from within. Try to think “what if this is all made up and I’m just fooling myself?” Would that upset you at all? What is the label indigo really adding to you besides a false sense of security and contentment and an excuse that you can hide your problems behind? I’m not trying to discredit your experiences and say they aren’t real, just the label of indigo. It’s really no different than the rich/poor, black/white, moral/immoral, etc. labels.
