I was just thinking, if not HE..where else could I vent myself on levels that the people around me seem not to care about? Just the sharing of our ideas, getting honest feedback, and being exposed to new ways of thinking apart from our own, in perhaps the only place where you can’t bullshit yourself.. is amazing. Thanks to yall who created this site. |

@cognizantelephant There actually are a few sites where you could do that, I don’t think that’s really where this site gets it coolness and following from, since it’s not unique in that area. It’s a sweet site though, big thanks to @jordan for creating it. I think the best part is that there are so many opportunities, ways to actually make something of the stuff that’s published and discussed. Sharing value, on- and off-site. |

@pipthecynical, overindulgent bastards are not that bad. Although I do get irritated by the unnecessary pride that’s coming from I-just-got-my-ass-kissed-and-I-like-it-because-I-was-feeling-empty asses. |

@pipthecynical, If we didn’t have them as a reference, then who could we ridicule? lol |

A good place to find it is in a philosophy class at a university. College is awesome. |

@birdflyinghigh, College blows lol No disrespect, just an opinion formed on personal experience. I’d take high existence over university any day, I have trust issues so I’ll take an anonymous know-it-all at the same face value as a professor anyway. |

@beniandtheuniverse, That is unfortunate. Do you read books? There are some classes/fields in academia that are mostly opinion (I’m not a fan of modern political science, or gender theory to be honest) but there are also lots of very interesting, very intelligent people who end up as college professors. |

@birdflyinghigh, I was always a ‘book worm’ growing up. I enjoy learning and never intend to stop, I don’t do it well in classes. In fact, I’ve usually preferred reading the text book to attending class, sometimes that simply does not work, Calculus is the first severe case to come to mind. College professors are just people who want to teach you something (hopefully). That experience isn’t exclusive to the classroom. |
