Do you think they are symbols from the subconscious or spiritual entities trying to tell something to the dreamer?

Tough call to be honest. I’ve had a dream where my deceased grandmother came to me and told me to have a little more faith in life (I’ve been going through some existential shit lately) and then when I won a meeting with a psychic at a fundraiser the woman told me ”your grandmother would like to know why you still don’t have faith despite the fact that she visited you in your dream”. I had never spoken to anyone about that dream. Still trips me out to think about it.
I guess it all depends on your view of the universe; could be a dead one trying to contact you, could be your subconscious trying to tell you something. But why would the subconscious need to do it via dreams? Man the fuck up and tell me while I’m awake lol
