I have a book that speaks about how old daoist mystics explains their version of DNA. I don’t have the book with me. So I can’t give you the name. A cool hypothesis Alex. But I have a hard time imagining that anything was sent from somewhere. Same chaos rules our DNA as everything around us. As for reprogramming. It sounds really interesting. There are stories about monks in Tibet and China that could make their bones grow at incredible rates. It would be nice to learn that skill. They aren’t reprogramming their DNA though. Actually our society is the cause of most of the progress we have made. Not DNA. Today we get about the same amount of information from a Sunday newspaper that a 16th century farmer got during his entire grown up life. Have any good reading about reprogramming the genes? It would be an interesting read. Cheers! |

@Johannes How do you know we don’t understand this higher way of being yet? Maybe you don’t, that doesn’t mean others don’t. Just look. Chaos doesn’t rule anything, chaos can’t rule. If there is any sort of rule, there isn’t chaos. As soon as there is any rule, chaos is no more. If you’re altering how your body rebuilds itself, or its processes, you are altering your dna. Otherwise there would be no change. When you expand your mind, your brain structure changes and when it is rebuilt it keeps up with the changes. The same goes for your muscles, your body composition is changed to produce stronger muscle fibers, this is all governed by dna. Dna is the blueprint, any lasting change to your body is a change to the dna. As for reading: To get a general idea of the subject you could read “The biology of belief” by Bruce Lipton. Lipton is a great developmental biologist, one of his most famous experiments is the one where he found that identical cells turn into different types of cells depending on their environments. |

Higher being talk is usually wild speculations. Yeah yeah I know it’s the blueprint. But what I’m wondering is how you by a mental process let’s say, changes your skin color to green just by thinking. What you said about changing environment changes your cells is pretty cool. It’s still something that is in your DNA at the moment. |

@Johannes Well, the cells had the exact same properties, identical dna and so on. One was placed in fat, another in a type of protein and so on. They adapted to what they were placed in. The dna changed. That’s what’s happening to the cells in your body, continuosly. Every thought changes your brain structure, every physical strain changes your muscle structure and so on. I think growing horns or such things by thought will be possible with a stronger mind. The mind is what’s evolved most in humans, our physical evolution has slowed down tremendously but the mind capacity is ever growing. There are people who do amazing things by the sheer strength of mind, people who defy that their body should not be able to do what it’s doing. People who supposedly grew back lost limbs, etc. It’s in our future, the next step in human evolution is this higher level of control over the physical. |
