I was wondering if anyone knows much about this…
I’ve taken the questionaire tests, 2 for 2 I got red… someone just told me I was orange the other night tho.. Thought that was very interesting she said that..
Is it easy to learn to see them? And can you change your color through meditation?
I question this whole idea of different colored auras and their meanings. I mean, everything is relative right so a person who is “red” to me might be an “orange” to someone else? For me, i sense the aura of the person more than see their color.
I don’t know THAT much about auras but, being an artist, I’m really into color and its meaning. The strangest thing is at various stages in my life I’ve been extremely drawn to favoring a certain color in my clothing and surroundings and after reading the color descriptions I would say that they are dead-on accurate about who I was back then and the colors I’ve “overdosed” on wearing. Thanks! Looking more into this
THE AURIC BODIES AND YOUR NEEDS ON EACH LEVEL OF AURIC FIELD
1) Physical auric body – Physical sensations. Simple physical comfort, pleasure, health.
2) The etheric auric body – Emotions with respect to self. Self-acceptance and self love.
3) Vital auric body – Rational mind. To understand the
situation in a clear, linear, rational way.
4) Astral (emotional) body – Relations with others. Loving interaction with friends and family.
5) Lower mental auric body – Divine will within. To align with the divine will within, to make commitment to speak and follow the truth.
6) Higher mental auric body – Divine love, and spiritual ecstasy.
7) Spiritual (intuitive) body – Divine mind, serenity. To be connected to divine mind and to understand the greater universal pattern.
I really believe in this… These are all compenents of our awareness. And I believe them to be your ‘self’ .. not to be contradictory with a ‘no-self’ idea… at any given moment you may be more aware or in tune with one compenent than another, and thus you can be more aware of diff components at any given time so your ‘self’ is changing, dynamic… I believe our goal as a society should be to highten our awarenss of these 7 things. Change the way we communicate, and project our feelings, and being able to read these projections from others, instead of dissecting words all the time…. I don’t know how complete the 7 listed here are, but they are looked at as chakras, and other things in other cultures.. I find a lot of validity in it……
I believe that the ‘self’ is real, and is dynamic… again, not in conflict with what I think (i’m reading a bit more these days) is a ‘no-self’ concept, such as the intro to this site.. but is an excellent frame work for the idea of a self, in identifying that it is dynamic and changing, instead of concrete.. We are a product of our enviornment yes, so we become biologically programed (i’m completly hypothesisizing now) and therefor tend to gravitate towards one spectrum in the possible auras, thus have a defined color in our auras.. Which got me to thinking, wouldn’t it be something special if you could change the color of your aura.. And I don’t no much about it, but I do know meditation can accomplish fairly extraordinary things.. changing your aura could bring about so many alternative paths in your life.. I thought, since I have a fairly defined aura, achieved through my experiences, which molded my conclusions of reality, I only have the experiences based of my projected aura to go on… I’ll never know what my path would be like, and how I would interact with each stop on my path, if I had a different color aura, until I do it…
The only concern with the ‘no-self’ concept is that it gives us no boundaries… Forgive me if i’m wrong.. But this gave me concrete framework, of achieving a blissful existence..
It acknowledges that emotions and feelings, are more important than thoughts I believe
Does this sound practical to you??
These seven Reiki elements loosely align with Chakras, and I believe Reiki also call them Chakras, but the seven Chakras I am familiar with are as below:
1) Root – Base emotions and physical experiences. Touching, seeing, feeling the world as an infant would. Emotions are affected profoundly by what we experience in the physical world (i.e. ‘ouchies’ make us cry uncontrollably). It is physically located underneath your body when in a seated position. Red
2) Sacral – Sexual energies. Concerned with pleasures and reward. ‘Getting off’ or ‘Getting yours’ are your only two goals. Physically located in the genitals. Orange
3) Solar Plexus – Power and will. Concerned about the ego and self-control. Physically located about two inches above the navel. Yellow
4) Heart – Love and understanding. Compassion, empathy, and forgiveness are controlled here. Physically located in the center of the chest. Green
5) Throat – Creativity and communication. Wordsmiths and artists are often associated here. Physically located in the center of the throat or the adam’s apple. Blue
6) Third Eye – Perception and insight. Intuition and Imagination are associated here. Physically located in the center of the forehead behind the eyebrows. Indigo
7) Crown – Divine Wisdom or enlightenment. Oneness with the universe, spirit, Unity are all found here. Physically located on the top of the head. Violet
But there is also a kabbalah chakra tree consisting of ten chakras. Each connected with a color and a planet. They are more self-explanatory than the Hindu system, so I will only make notes when needed.
1) Crown – Violet, Neptune
2) Wisdom – Grey, Uranus
3) Understanding – Black, Saturn
4) Mercy – Dark Blue, Jupiter
5) Strength – Pink, Mars
6) Beauty – Dark Green, Sun
7) Victory – Light Green, Venus
8) Splendor – Light Orange, Mercury
9) Foundation – Dark Orange, Moon (Same as Sacral above)
10) Kingdom – Red (Sometimes Brown), Earth (Same as Root above)
There is more mobility in the Kabbalah system, and you can pretty much migrate along any connection.
I like the idea of overlaying the two chakra systems.
Creating a thirteen chakra tree that encompasses the balance of the kabbalah system and the upward focus of the Hindu system.
But more to the point… Is it too late for that?… Yes, you can change the color of your aura. Infact your color changes with your mood, emotions, thoughts, and focus. If you allow your sacral self to take over, you will be more orange. If you meditate on your heart chakra, you will be more blue. But you can also affect the size, strength and brightness of your aura as well.
@mkp843…my understanding is you have 10 chakra’s…one for each level of the spiritual world…the goal is to radiate a white light (aura) all around you…the wideness of the light the higher the level you have reached…the brighter the light the more connected/clearer (spiritual) you are :D
yes…to your question :D
your aura changes as you change…meditation helps in your personal development as well as in your spiritual development :D
Nice Micheal thanks, appreciate the feedback Robert..
I had seen some videos on this a while back and got sucked into them, they were making so much sense to me.. I hadn’t done any meditating on it yet, and I haven’t studied it either, just got to thinking it was really worth something. Being able to read auras would almost be like saying your psychic maybe.. ??
pretty cool stuff
you are welcome :D
if; you have any questions please feel free to ask :D
personally; i call it being connected to the spiritual world rather than psychic…but; you can call it what you want :D
it is interesting see others auras…it does come in handy from time to time :D
Do you think you explore auras with your spirit… or do you think your brain plays a role? I was thinking it could because diff color auras are associated with diff body parts… So… if you concentrated on that spot you could explore what that aura was about…
maybe i’m high :) , i just think that chart has the right idea.. trying to mediate about it, i was imagining the color in it’s respected area on your body.. just helps diff thoughts come to mind for me…
I have actually seen several people’s auras change color over time. Take, for instance, one of my older sisters: She used to be very black, dirty grey and red. She went through a divorce, had a really awful boyfriend and then turned her life around, so to speak, and has been doing some life skills workshops, meditation, etc. for several years. Now, she is violet/orange with a sprinkling of light blue.
Here is a link for you..
this stuff has been around for a long time…. just check it out… you can shoot holes in anything you want… It just clicks with me… I have experiences with it when I actually try to focus on it…. I haven’t put in much effort yet but i’m getting much more interested in it
I’m not saying there is anything wrong with most of it, I just think they are putting a holistic/spiritual facade on plain old psychology.
It kinda reminds me of acne medicine, in a way. Sure it works, but only because it is making you wash your face more…which was all you needed.
I think auras connect with people because it either tells them what they want to hear, or it makes them really take an introspective look at the way they live their lives.
that link was retarded lol… sorry.. there are better ones I didn’t get a good one…
this one looked a little better…
Could be… A stranger told me what color my aura was… that was really off to me… made me focus on y she would say that… I thought it through and things line up for me….
I smoked some good weed last night, and was hoaned in on auras lol… I think you really can see colors, or tell which chakras ppls energies are coming out of.. I think really enlightened ppl have all or multiple chakras wide open.. Maybe it’s having no-self.. but I liked the chakra idea alot.. no self is cool too… They probably have nothing to do with each other… lol.. i was stuck on thinking about no self last night too lol… was good weed what can i say
I think it’s genious….
@Matt P “I believe our goal as a society should be to highten our awarenss of these 7 things. Change the way we communicate, and project our feelings, and being able to read these projections from others, instead of dissecting words all the time…”
I entirely agree. I believe that honesty- deep, complete, unabashed- is incredibly important to make this happen. Society still has that kind of fear of being entirely openly honest about being human. It’s changing now, people are trying to rid of it.. HEthens rock for being part of that movement!
“I think auras connect with people because it either tells them what they want to hear, or it makes them really take an introspective look at the way they live their lives.”
I don’t know about telling them what they want to hear… but it does seem to me to be a very sound outline to taking an introspective look at ppls energies… I think a lot more factors go into why the live there lives a certain way… That has to do with environment I think, little bit of genetics… Auras are just energies I guess… You can project them… i’ve done it.. lol.. you can project thoughts too.. I can’t ‘prove it’ to you tho
And mitch honesty is everything huh… That’s the simple way of breaking things down, I can’t stand lying… “honesty- deep, complete, unabashed” that sounds pretty powerful… but yea a lot of ppl don’t like to air out, or are unable tolerate ppl airing out, or maybe worse ppl don’t air out they lash out…
I think auras are just a deeper look into energies, bright colors tend to represent health, functionality.. and murky ones tend to represent the opposite, bad moods, ect.. look with your ‘minds eye’… I think you have to organize the thought process tho of what your looking for, like with chakras, and colors, and what the represent… i started with this for organizing it….. it’s just something i’ve been doing for fun
Somebody put me onto a cool article Nathan, which said that all honesty is, is taking all your own hold ups out of other ppls points of view, and seeing that point of view as true.. and the the actual truth becomes clear to you.. I hope I said that correct.. I don’t mean that negatively toward you at all, it was just def worth passing on…
