The point is, once we stop struggling to be ‘better’ and just go with the flow, as it were, reaching our true potential is easy. ;-)

I get the struggling part but I do not understand the connection to any will and being better and god..
Reaching your (full)potential in my opinion is never easy as it is on the border of incapability or impossibility.
The only way this would make sense if god would be the self.

I don’t believe that a person’s potential or their pursuit to reaching their full potential has anything to do with any type of god.
If one chooses to pursue a path of faith and this helps them to actualize a higher level of potential that is great. I applaud them.
Many of us do not need a god to be very good people who help others and positively impact those in their lives. Many do not need a god to reach their true potential. I personally think one can never attain their true potential. Everyone can always improve in some way.

i just explained my vision and tried to communicate am not in a position to deny anyone their god or absence of god… .
At least that is how i meant to put it. ;)
