I have recently been trying to do the things I really enjoy, rather than the things i dread upon. However, it has become a bit of a struggle because most of my days are consumed by doing things i dislike, such as work and school. Does anyone have any advice or anything on how to stay on track with doing things that you love, but still moving forward and being productive?

@kellah, you aren’t really being productive if all you are doing points to dread. I mean, as cliche as that may sound, it really is the truth. I mean, I understand the mentality of doing something you dislike because this leads to something else you will like, but that’s not always a guarantee. It’s like when people tell you that college is everything. College is no promise of a great job, though people do need to see it sometimes to hire you. You could just as easily drop education and get successful doing whatever it is you love in the right way, such that they want you to keep doing what you love forever.

@lytning91, That makes sense. I guess I never thought about going through a different way of doing things to get to other things that I love. thanks =)
