As I was watching the movie “10,000 BC”, I questioned myself, “how were pyramids made?”. Due to knowing the fact that in that time period, technology was scarce.
Most people conjure to the idea that extraterrestrials play its part in building these monuments. But I lean more towards the idea of having thousands of people captured who’re used as slaves, being abused and whipped to work for the Phaoroh’s of Egypt. To me it makes perfect sense that way, to have thousands of people work for you, building these timeless sights.
Just out of curiosity, what’re your thoughts on it?
@lesterdeguzman, after watching MANKIND i am leaning towards the slave idea as well. I think that someone drummed up the idea of the pyramids and in those days they had nothing else to do but work. It was much easier to get thousands of people together to build something than today because of obvious reasons (technology today, and lack there of then). So yea someone at he bottom with the blue print, big mofos with whips making sure the slaves were working their asses off.
@drunkmonkmeth, oh ok, well i just remember them having ropes wrapped around the stones and then like 10 guys pulling and pushing and falling off the pyramids. i can get down with that theory too, either way i dont think aliens built them, although i definitely believe in other life forms being out there in space
Slavery, with absolutely nothing else to do, and a fairly dedicated society to it’s kings, produces massive things, apparently.
In my travels there have been many sites/landmarks that are as exciting as the google image you see on your computer screen. There are few that completely transcend any preconceived notion you had. The Pyramids surpassed all expectations- they are magic.
