What are some good healthy foods to munch on while experiencing the 420? I’m looking to shift away from my usual stoner foods of chips, chocolate, ice cream, candy and cookies. I know everyone is going to chime in with fresh fruits and vegetables. I don’t like eating those when I’m stoned. Still, there’s granola, nuts, dehydrated fruits. What are some other healthy foods to enjoy once the munchies kick in?
Celery and peanut butter.
Sugar snap peas! With garlic hummus! Seriously, I can eat those things like most people eat potato chips, hahaha.
Apples slices and a little cinnamon sugar, thrown in the microwave for 40 seconds.
An egg with feta cheese, crushed red pepper flakes, and basil.
Baby carrots and ranch.
Iced coffee on a hot day, hot coffee on a cold day. Being high makes temperature gratification so wonderful!
Tea, so many varieties.
There are so many delicious healthy munchies :)
*the more you eat “healthy” fruits and vegetables, things like that- the more you will want to eat them and not eat the foods you described. Seriously.
Eating them while high, making yourself at first, will enforce that too. And is good for overall mental clarity and brain/body health.
Meh dieting myself while stoned sounds like such a chore. But for the stoners that are already healthy eaters, I see them go through ounces of dried fruits. This one kid I knew finished off like a 2lb box of raisins and a half pound of dried dates during one of his first times getting baked.
Maybe get ripped and walk through the grocery store and pick out what looks good and healthy.
Make dip sauce, slice some veggies. Done! Takes 5 min max to make a metric shitload of this stuff. Tastes like chips n dip but less “muddy,” a lot tastier.
Oh and nothing beats mango taste-wise while high. Tastes like sunshine and happiness, and it can increase your high by releasing more anandamide. Same goes for DARK chocolate.
Or a good old fat steak. Tasty as all hell when you’re high, and full of good nutrition.
Stay off the granola, dude, especially while high.

Hummus tastes awesome and it’s good for your body. You can puree pretty much any plant into a dip. There are tons of recipes out there. Some raw and some cooked.
Dark chocolate. 70% cocoa. Put a small piece on your tongue and let it melt in your mouth. Do not chew it, I repeat, DO NOT CHEW IT. You will thank me for this one.
Eat fruit cold in the summer and warm in the winter.
I rely on frozen yoghurt and pressed fruit bars. I’ve found one which is dates, raisins and cashew nuts with a touch of cocoa powder and I swear they taste like chocolate. The company’s called nakd. The next step is try and make them myself! Rice cakes with peanut butter and nuts are good for satisfying munchies too.

Almond butter (delicious!!), hummus and veggies, salsa (sometimes even plain isn’t bad), baked/grilled/cooked veggies w/ olive oil are always delicious, nuts, beans, berries and other fruits
one of my favorite things to do while baked at home is actually cook. home cooked meals are usually more healthy, unless you really mess it up with too much fat or sugar.
Some fruits to me taste like candy when i’m high, such as nearly-ripe mangos, strawberries, blueberries, starfruit and pomegranates.
Oh man, great thread. Kale chips are really great. Also, organic popcorn with a little olive oil and fresh garlic, hummus and baked whole grain chips, coconut water (especially when you’re dehydrated,) granola with almond milk, and my all time favorite thing to drink is definitely KOMBUCHA… so good for you and tastes amazing while high.
Damn, I was gunna suggest cauliflower. I fucking love that shit. It’s delicious. Legit, I’ll sit around stoned as shit eating bowls and bowls of cauliflower. Haha
Uhm, fruit smoothies are damn delicious. With greek yogurt, berries, om nom nom I’m not sure how anyone can say no to that.
Oh, you know whats mad good? If you’re high and feeling ambitious, and if you have Parmesan cheese and garlic laying around, and one egg (the white) and chopped broccoli, and flour, make broccoli patties and fry ’em up in olive oil (yea yea yea). It’s the most delicious thing you’ll ever have. It’s orgasmic.
I may go make some now.
I came up with this one once while making weed brownies.
Sprinkle kale chips with cheese and the leftover butter-drenched weed crumblies from making the weed butter. Microwave until the cheese is melted.
Voila! Amazing, amazing nachos.
