Haven’t posted in a while. This site has helped me tremendously in my personal growth, but I feel like everything has come crashing down again. I have no idea who I am anymore, or what I want, or even if I am capable to achieve what I want. I don’t know my reason for being in school anymore. My inner fire has gone out. I don’t know whats driving me anymore. I miss being happy. I miss not being tired all the time. I miss that internal “knowing” I used to have. I miss passion. I don’t know what to do. I know many of you have gone through this. I don’t even really know what i’m asking, I just know something needs to change. |

@lexi, Here to help! :) My name’s Phil, I’m a 17 year old boy that lives on an Island in Florida, just so you have a better picture of who I am. I am right next to you on this one, because I’m at a crossroads in my life right now: About to get out of high school at the end of this year and in the summer I’ll be moving to New Zealand for a year, away from all my family and friends into a completely new environment. To most, it’s scary to be going off on your own “into the wilderness” with no help or fallback. But I like the challenge, and I want to experience living on my own and being in a completely new place! Needless to say, there are always going to be people (including yourself) that will knock you down. And maybe you don’t see the way up, but eventually you’ll get out of the slump and realize what you need to do. |

My big thing is if nothing exciting in my life is happening I start to grow bored and question my life. Fill your life with adventure or do one super fun thing a day. It doesn’t even have to be big. Like a nature hike or if you don’t live near nature go to some shops where you live or visit a friend. ~Ellie |

@lexi, Everyone feels like you are now once in a while, it kind of sucks, but there’s good news, you can get out of it as soon as you decide to! :) I’d suggest you to read this article, you probably have already, but why don’t you do it again, it’s amazing. http://www.highexistence.com/finding-your-bliss-a-quick-strategy/ That being said, you just have to find once again the right motivation to go back on the right track, just take a day off, from everything, think about what you want from life, get in touch with the nature, go for some jogging, enjoy yourself and ask yourself what are your goals and if your attitude toward them is the right one, if it is not, just change! Best of luck :). |
