Here's to life.
From a young age I thought that this world wasn’t good enough. There was an apparent lack of goodness in this civilization, that confused me. I felt that everyone wanted the same thing, peace and happiness, but didn’t do anything about it. All I ever heard was “Life is tough!” followed by “School, work, marriage, children, retire; repeat cycle”, people all around the world are dying of starvation and malnutrition. Acts of violence everywhere upon the other species and ourselves; war, torture, rape, debt, poverty, not to mention the psychological effects this all has on us.
Then came the questions: What was stopping anyone from doing anything about these things? Did anyone really want something better for their lives or the lives of others? Did anyone truly care? Was there any compassion left? In the face of all this negativity, I continued to question. I’ve concluded that there will always be as much reason to doubt as there will be reasons to hope.
The banks are corrupt and have corrupt the Government, which has has taken over education and health care thus corrupting those as well. While all 4 of the previous objects mentioned were created to serve us, we now serve instead. Everything has become a struggle for power with little to no regard to the problems it causes worldwide. The people with the power know the consequences, it means nothing to them, they don’t feel it. They know numbers and profit margins, anything beyond that is numb to them.
After learning all I have about the world I’ve been born into, I’ve come to realize that the feeling I had as a child was spot on. I’ve also learned that I’m not alone in this feeling, there are many others that feel the same. These occupy movements scream hope in a world of shit. Some view them as people without initiative or something along those lines, but in reality who are those people to judge the people who are actively doing something about the problems they are having? This confuses me and frustrates me; how can people be so blind, and continue to be so blind? Do they not see this is all happening on their doorsteps now. One doesn’t have to look far to see the sickness spreading. There are thousands, if not millions, examples and facts that show the corruption.
Here’s to change; here’s to hope, life and peace.

I totally feel ya pink! Those are some of the questions I ask myself all the time, and imo I have come up with the following reasons.
I believe that most, if not everyone truly cares deep down inside about whats going on for those who are aware of the current situations. But their motivation and ability to actually act and do something is ONE of the issues. People are kept in a current state of fear. I believe that’s ONE of the ways they keep us in line and in control to an extent. I also think that the typical american cannot begin to comprehend the true state that they are in.. People are too worried about working their 9-5′s in order to barely scrape by to get food, clothes, shelter, the latest fassion, facebook, sports etc..etc.. we are so concerned with that, that philosophising about freedom and socialist democracy is usually unfortunately beyond their rationale. They don’t realize that America can’t exist without separating them from their identity, because if we had some sense of who we really are, there’s no way in hell we’d allow this country to push it’s genocidal consensus on our homelands. This ignorance exists, but it can be destroyed. We need a revolution of the mind! Once we start to change ourselves and the way that we think, the things we look at begin to change.
We must be the change we want to see in the world…
Just remember that we are always spraying the air with our moods and energy. So try and stay positive at all times, lend a hand to your fellow brother and sister whenever they might need it, learn from your mistakes and others and always try to keet it cool in the head. Mind over matter is what matters!
