How can we change the world???

2 years, 10 months ago

Lately I have been learning about how corrupt the World’s political, monetary, and religious centers really are. And from what I have seen, heard, and read I don’t understand how we can make a difference if these people really do have all the power. They will either dodge away from public accusation or if they see fit use actual force. Is the world doomed to a huge war where the powers of good and evil will converge and fight each other? Or is what our mothers’ said about playing nice and not fighting each other going to rule?

It just seems to be almost impossible for us to do anything.

So I guess my main question is… How can we change the world?

@emmaleewithlove, Have you ever seen or read the Celestine Prophecy? The trailer reminds me a lot of that story.

@biga69, I’ve watched a few documentaries that show the corruption in our society. One that really caught my eye was “Burzynski”. It’s about a doctor who found a safer and more effective way to treat cancer back in the ’70s but his research is condemned by the FDA because of the large amount of money and education invested into the radiation/chemo therapy industry. It’s pretty sad that people are dying because of this kind of thing.

@cantbe123, Ya I’ve heard similar stories, like that vitamin B-17 actually seeks out and kills cancer cells. Government has it’s hand in a lot of things the people don’t know about. I think if people knew half the things the government hid then there would be riots in the streets, so there is a fine line of the gov keeping the peace and covering up lies. If only they never lied so they wouldn’t have a mess like this…

@biga69, “Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity.” -Horace Mann

I think instead of trying to “change THE world,” you should try to “change A world.”

I always stick to what Gandhi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

And Matthew 22:39, “A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”
