how do YOU make a difference?

I mean I think this loosely applies to the definition of making a difference, but I like to make connections with people via my eye contact and body language. I will often just be walking through campus and start just meeting everyone’s gaze as I jam with my iPod. It just feels right to me to make people understand that at least SOMEONE is affirming, albeit faintly, that they exist besides themselves.

I also have noticed that if you really start to groove to your music on a bus, people who are listening to theirs will start to do the same. I’ll be playing air drums and the next thing you know the person across from me will start swaying a little and shaking their head. I love those kinds of subtle connections with people.
