Hey fellow HEthens much like you I’m tired of the radio playing the same songs over and over again, as well as nothing new. I have a music podcast and I want to make it perfect for awesome music listeners like you guys and girls. So give it a listen and give me your opinion.

It’s pretty good, though I found the audio quality quite bad actually.
Track choices, well… they’re good songs, but I get that “same old nothing new” feeling about them. That’s just me though.

@aizen, I just gotta ask you man, where did you get the tracks? What format, what bitrate, what sinc, etc?
If you want this thing to get heard and followed, you gotta make sure you get good quality tracks, not mangled distorted 112kbps mp3s taken from youtube or soundcloud, know what I’m sayin.
Same goes for rendering your mixes, make sure you set it to at least decent quality. And another tip is, if you’re not already doing it, to make sure the tracks are at roughly the same loudness.
And if you wanna take it one step further, make some nice simple transitions between the songs. It gives that “the music’s still going, gotta keep listening” feeling and keeps people sucked in.
So instead of silence when you speak between the songs, there’s music, more like a dj set than a traditional radio show.
Just an idea.

@aizen, try thesixtyone.com , great escape from modern pop music into more diverse areas of music. It also rewards those who seek unexplored music, how cool is that?!
