@ Manimals post, Double negative, second sentence, therefore you learned from a book? But still you sound like an old grandpa screaming at the youth. A lot of people do not get a chance to grow around the best environments, their behaviors are triggered by those around them, they learn to only know what is needed, and they do not see education or growing as a tool that can help them. They simply do not know, or cannot see, and this is most of the people I know too, so stop shunning people away like the are inferior to you or not worth a thread on this site even if they sound ridiculous. And I maybe wrong on my view points, but this is how I see this shit |

If english if your native tongue, please respect it. Learning to type properly isn’t that hard. You speak properly (I hope), you write properly at school, because no way to teachers accept shit written like this, so it’s not that hard to type properly as well. (It’s a big pet peeve of mine when people type like shit, so I am a bit biased) But hey, spreading love and peace and joy is always good, so more power to you! But please learn to type. |

But as you’ve seen here, not everyone will take you seriously if you don’t present your ideas and words properly. It’s like a entrepreneur trying to get money for a new idea of his, if he has a shitty presentation to his investors, they will never give him money. He may have the best idea in the world, and it may be going to work flawlessly, but if he can’t present it, then no one will follow it. Everyday, we have our ideas in our head, and we must present them to the world (the investors). Everyone has their own way of doing it (art, music, writing….) but the basics of the language (reading and writing and typing) are pretty standard. So, the better your presentation of your ideas to the world is, the more likely people will follow and say “Yeah, this guy really know’s his stuff!” My 2 cents, at least. |

@Alex, lol I am with you man, at least this thread was mildly entertaining. @Nick, your heart is in the right place dude, and i commend you on that. I checked out your site, it is decent. If that is yours, congrats on the 271 members. Now compare your site with high existence. Both are places to engage in thoughtful conversation. Which do you think is more efficient? If you read a couple threads and blogs on this site I’m sure you will see that proper communication is key to expressing opinions and ideas. |

I understand the logic behind someone needing good grammer to communicate his or her ideas but what I don’t understand is how this argument went on for 3 pages. Crazy. Nick, I understand your frustration on this subject BUT If you wanted this thread to go your way, you should have taken what was said and simply replied with, “I will try and work on that”. That would have ended the argument and your thread would have gone in a more positive direction. This thread is now dead, unfortunately, the negativity spread like a viral disease and it cannot be saved. Either way I always admire someone who tries to make a change, so kudos to you. Keep it going and do your thing. |
