Your knowledge about Celts that is! I’m doing an assignment on the Celts for school – Does anyone know about some good sources for information on the Celts (the irish Celts in particular) that aren’t wikipedia?
I’m especially interested in their music, preferably their musical scores as well.
in case you don’t, or even if you do, discuss how fucking awesome the Celts were with all their Samhain and all that shit.

When’s the assignment due? I’m Irish and although I’m in a city at the moment for Uni, I know plenty of places at home with Celtic artwork. If I am home, I can take a few photos?

Sweetness – it’s due friday – Some photos would be awesome! I could use some shot’s of religious shrines or the like, in terms of music i would appreciate it if you could point me to some truly ancient songs, i’m doing a comparative analysis of Celtic music and modern Irish folk music too see how the Celtic music has been transformed and what is still apparent in Irish music today. I aldready have a few books with scores on Irish tunes but the trouble is I don’t know how old they are. :)

Ah, I’m afraid I’ll not be home until next week but I can try the graveyard beside me now, they usually have celtic cross headstones. As for truly old music, I can’t tell you I’m afraid. I wouldn’t even know where to begin looking

Thanks anyway man :) it’s not that significant since it’s a synopsis and we have a shitton of books on celts with great photos :) i’m Going to Dubling myself soon so i guess i’ll be able to take plenty of photos then :D
