We exit the birth canal and enter this world.
How do we arrive?
Do we have a ticket?
Passport?
Visa?
Luggage?
NONE OF THE ABOVE
We arrive as culmination of a nine month journey.
We have not ticket.
No Passport.
No Visa.
No Luggage (not even a checked bag).
We have not clothes, even.
No designer shoes.
Our tiny hands hold nothing.
We arrive with nothing,
YET TOTALLY COMPLETE !
And on this auspicious day,
in the first minutes of our entrance,
is everything we ever need to know about
anything.
Later on,
through various and sundry influences and events,
we will forget who we are:
that same self-knowledge that is our only
Self-awareness
on the day of our birth.
It does not change just because we get older.
It does not change just because we go to school.
It does not change because someone says it changes,
or that we never were who we are to begin with.
As we move along we are taught on a linear timeline.
We pick-up things:
ideas, philosophies, notions, opinions and beliefs.
BUT
we were not born with those things.
They are not natural to us.
And what can be picked-up can be shed.
It is not part and parcel of the fabric of our
Beingness.
It is only so much external phenomena.
External being outside and apart from “US”;
Our True Nature.
Our Pure and Natural State.
Our Original Presence.
Always,
ALWAYS
look to that state of your entry into this existence
each and every time you wonder
“What the hell’s going on!?!”

Our human bodies are the result of the union of two other beings. That body is not “us” but simply a vehicle and tool for use in navigating the superficial world. I respectfully disagree that we are “their product” as if we are owned by them. We are free and independent individuals and their charge is to nourish and protect us until such time as we can function on our own. As to “stuff”, what is that? Meaningless. Thank-you for the kind replies.
