Is The Universe A Holographic Reality?

3 years, 3 months ago

I came across this article a little while ago and it has changed my vision of the universe ever since. I will go far as to say it is the most jaw-dropping and fascinating thing I have ever read it my life. I’m curious to see what you guys think of it. Make sure you allow a lot of time for this one because it can be pretty hard to digest.

To your point Jake, I don’t understand all of it but it is very interesting to say the least. Whenever reading something like this I like to see what the opponents of such theories say about it as well: “his results were not completely conclusive, since there were so-called loopholes that allowed for alternative explanations that comply with local realism. See local hidden variable theory.” I checked that out too but as usual didn’t completely understand it either.

This topic brought to mind an article I read, and posted somewhere in here, a while ago. Claiming that our universe may be the interior of a black hole in another universe. It answers some questions, brings about a lot more, but I don’t see it as any less plausible than having to create 11 dimensions just to make the math come out (M Theory)

OH MY GOD. this is one of my favorite topics to talk about. Do yourselves a favor and pick up “the holographic universe” by Michael Talbot. That book, made me love science. It makes complete sense too.
