Who’s used it? I just found it today, and looks like my new favorite place to spend time online. |

This made college chem a little better. Overall it’s a great idea, some experimental schools are using it. They would assign the kids to watch the lesson at home and then do work in class, rather than sitting in a lecture for an hour and then do work outside of class. |

More people need to get on this shizz. Googles first employee actually just left google to work more on this website. It’s going to become a very very great thing (it is already) |

I love Khan Academy! I’m an eLearning developer so I mostly go there for instructional design inspiration, but I love the Cosmology and Astronomy curriculum. On a sidenote, a colleague just sent me an article on Craig Silverstein – one of Google’s first employees (running joke, he was there when google was good) – left Google for a position as a developer for Khan Academy. Weird that I see your post shortly after :-) |

I love the concept and I think it will help millions to learn in their own pace and in their own time. I used it to check it out, but I already finished all my math/physics/chemistry courses before it launched. I hope they will add philosophy soon, so more people will take the effort to study it :) |
