I don’t have a lot of experience, but I lived alone from the beginning of October until the middle of December and I’m gonna continue from the beginning from January. I just got back to see my family for the holidays. It really depends where you live and what the differences in the environment will be. I had to move from a peaceful and quiet place, a house, to a noisy urban area in an apartment with a lot of neighbors, bashing doors and whatever, yelling and enjoying living on the first floor on a central street so I had to wear earplugs to get used to that shit! Also, I learned to cook and keep myself busy for awhile, though too much time alone is definitely not good, therefore I second not getting wasted alone, this shit is no joke.
@yoinkie, That was hilarious!
@dougmda, I live alone. I have a 2 bedroom apartment to myself and I love it. I don’t want a roommate. It’s great having a place entirely to yourself. There really isn’t any advice I would offer you because in the end it’s your own personal experience which matters. One thing I will say though is be prepared to spend a lot of money and be prepared to constantly encounter new things you need to buy for your place. It’s crazy how much shit you end up needing if you have your own place.
