I believe that “love at first sight” is an expression for relationship in which there are no ups and downs before two people actually start to love each other.
It’s hard to love some one who you just meet. Love is much deeper connection between people.

To be honest anytime I hear people start using brainscans to describe persons’ behavior I want to stop listening. Our brains react to the situation, the situation is controlled by the persons invovled. Also, the brain is still a vastly unexplored and misunderstood machine. I doubt you can make many conclusions (especially conclusions concerning ‘love at first sight’) by scanning it.

I think….I think people confuse what love really is with what THEY think it is. And while all things are based on perceptions and relativity, etc…I think SOME things…even…well, even intangible but somehow very concrete (until shattered) emotions, like love, are FACTS…and that no matter WHAT the people experiencing said feelings THINK those feelings are, sometimes, they REALLY just are NOT love.
