Meditate in God's Presence
@jakehay, I ask why to perhaps jog a brain, sober someone up to their own stance.
My message has no baggage though.
@backcase, Yes, guides like a Father. Where is the female aspect?
@backcase, I must say, I’ve got to admire your unashamedly Christian posts. You posted a topic, got some differing responses, and you didn’t back down at all.
You do what you do, and you do it well. Kudos to you, sir.
P.S. I hope this doesn’t wreck what I just said, but I’ve been reading your posts and imaging that they were being read by an angry Samuel L. Jackson. It’s kinda added to the whole experience.
@danfontaine, Thanks for that. Lol.
@danfontaine, Virtue can be written of but never understood by certain readers. Jesus’ behavior and deeds show virtue through word and that is one reason why you may see the bible called the “Word” of God, because the words come to life when drawn through spirit.
The female aspect is that of the soul, which wishes to be united to God.
@jakehay, thank you but I would have no faith, no hope, or knowledge at all if not for God.
as for the S. Jackson voice, that comes from your own spirit, and means a bias or prejudice towards a belief I have.
@backcase, Okay I’ll bite. You’re intelligent and I have a question.
Do you think Jesus would be happy with the money spent that is donated in his name? I mean there is big dollars in Christianity right? Billy Graham, The Roman Catholics, Hillsong. Lots of money, where does it go?
@jakehay, why worry about things we cannot control? It is a merit to he who gives out of selflessness, and it is a sin for he who takes out of selfishness. It is simply between God and the sinner, because men are never capable of perfect judgment and often sin considering themselves capable of judging correctly.
@jakehay, try reading this in its true spirit. Let go of bias and consent to what is love.
@backcase, There is no bias here. I’ve been quite reasonable in listening to your arguments, I just have a differing opinion.
@backcase, I don’t buy it dude. The bible has been edited into one big head fuck by domineering people. Truth does not need to be understood intellectually, this opens a gateway to contamination of the human nature through the power words have on thought and behavior. The idea of a 2″ thick bible is absurd.
@jakehay, hey you, drop the persona
@backcase, Do you know who you are without a shadow of a doubt? If so who are you?
@danfontaine, You’re a bit touchy don’t you think Dan?
Maybe you are feeling insecure that I questioned you yesterday.
Now be gone with you, you’re actually annoying me.
@jakehay, Small, don’t you think?
@danfontaine, I need a can of flyspray.
@backcase, Who is ‘He’ ? It is spiritual but you refer to somebody/something, and you still have not answered my questions.
I mean, it is good that you can repeat the words written in the Bible or taught to you by whoever, but do you actually know what you are talking about? From your responses and answers I would say no, but please prove me differently and start a discussion where you actually do not dive away from the answers, sliding yourself through the content, avoiding the questions and ending up in a vicious circle by replying with the same patterns.
@danfontaine, the words of Christ have not been contaminated even if man has tried to alter them, because the words of Christ are spirit and the Spirit of God shows their true meaning to the faithful.
@splashartist, without the shadow of a doubt I know that I am a sinner.
But I have trust in the infinite mercy of God.
@filipek, you are wrong, I replied to each of your questions with a sufficient answer, and in my own words.
If you are not satisfied with my answers then tell me why. I understand what I have said in each response fully, but you deny that have said anything.
Until you acknowledge my words you cannot argue.
And I will not argue for my sanity because it is a common tactic people use when they have no reply to my
Can’t just the Christians enjoy this meditation and the others just ignore? Hell, every time I see the word “Jesus” or “God” people start discussing.
By the way, nice meditation, I’ll have a try.
@xetado, Thank you once again. it is true that people would like to argue rather than spread peace. Most just have a bias against certain words without ever having looked into their meaning.
@xetado, That is a great point…And “christianity” was never meant to be a religion…I encourage anyone to really dig into the personality of christ…he is not the robotic person words on a page make him out to be…he always fought the religious of the day because they were just like the “christians” of today.
its all about your spirit…I do not want to say I know anything because I really dont. None of us do with an absolute certainty. But if we all seek the truth earnestly and not allow Dogma from any culture whether it be from “christianity” or eastern culture things will start to line up. Does not matter what you read but what you experience for yourself.
If you read the new testament as long as its not one of those weird versions you will see that humans have fucked up the way that Jesus intended everything to be. Nowhere does it say be fake, go on sundays, punch your time card, sit in pews, have no personal connection to your peers, and then leave and pretend nothing happened.
Reading without a bias will surprise many of you…and we have to remember that we never had the original hebrew translations. So a lot of it we are taking of the word of one person writing letters…But dont let the Dogma ruin something that is quite a deep and real experience.
Deutronomy 22…read that and youll be like ???
