Music to fall asleep to

I love it! There’s a reason the ambient is in brackets :)
I love that feeling when a song makes you almost feel high. I get that with Orbital all the time. Especially Belfast what a song. We could even make another discussion dedicated just to songs like that.
In the meantime. Enjoy!
I used to put this on repeat to fall asleep to all the time, but i can’t listen to it now because it reminds me so much of my ex.
icelandic band makes me sleepy.
also if you’re having trouble posting vids, remove the ‘www’ & ‘http’ as that seems to work with me :)
Nice choices so far. I’m not one who can usually fall asleep with music playing which definitely makes it difficult when staying overnight with someone who needs music to sleep. I learned to fall asleep to Bluetech:
I can however use music to get me ready for sleeping. Enya usually will do a good job of that as not only is it incredibly relaxing ambient music, I have childhood memories of listening to her self-titled album with my mother.
Other good choices for me are Massive Attack, Air, Bonobo and pretty much any triphop.
I’m one of those people who can fall asleep anywhere at any time (was close this morning when they pulled out my last wisdome tooth, but then again, that might just be the drugs)
Anyways, one of those groups that always make me relax and feel like i’m getting closer to sleep is the portugese group Madredeus, so here comes one of my favorites
Just hope i manage to embed it this time…. otherwhise, youtube Madredeus Oxala Oxala
I get major headaches when I listen to music late at night.. Because I think too much, and music just makes it worse. I often just stay up listening to music instead of sleeping.
I agree with Matt on the ambient music… gives me anxiety attacks as well.
But the perfect song to listen to before sleeping is Dreams by Fleetwood Mac :)
(Although I can’t say I ever fell asleep to it)
Ahhh yes music my favorite topic, i mostly listen to classical music like Mozarts Piano Concerto No 21 in C minor, Piano Concerto No 25 in D minor, J.S. Bach Ave Maria, Gregorian Chants, and my all time favorite would be anything from Enigma.
