This may not apply to everyone, you may feel perfectly the same. But everyone around me has been complaining about being sleepy and tired, my brother has been going to bed around 9:00. Could it have to do with the solar storm the our sun is currently undergoing? And how it’s affecting our electromagnetic field, and how that is affecting our pineal glands, which are responsible for secreting dmt while we sleep. When I put two and two together I just see a connection between the pineal gland and our sleep cycles. Does this sound logical at all? I’m not sure if it’s exactly the reason or maybe everyone being sleepy is all just one coincidence and I’m overthinking things.
I agree that it could just be finals time and the whole work our ass’s of for money and status thing, and then the feeling of being tired wearing off on the others around you (vise vera). As well when it gets darker out humans create chemicals within us that make us want to sleep, such as yes melatonin.
Also I wanted to note here, I’ve become a decent Insomniac recently, so unfortunately your findings don’t apply to me @brandonphillips, sorry!
It’s easy to label the reason as something we’ve been taught (no matter how “logical”), to see to the end of the theory. I’ve uncovered lie after lie that has been branded into me since childhood so now I can’t trust anything 100%. If nothing is certain, then why take the most common answer?
For the purpose of tickling our imaginations, let’s continue under the premise anything and everything is possible — this is how great ideas are formed. I think it’s totally possible that this upcoming planetary alignment can have some effects on the world, and especially its inhabitants.
To reinforce this hypothesis, it hasn’t happened in over 2,700 years! Making this the first time to be able to “scientifically” measure any abnormalities we may/may not experience over the next few weeks. There’s a lot of things that science is unable to provide an explanation; at least not for certain. An open mind is our most valuable tool in this time.
Regarding DMT, it is totally plausible. We don’t have evidence supporting it 100% does or does not. I always like to take the craziest route and dive down that rabbit hole. “What if”s fuel us to explore and discover, and it’s people like you who continue to push us towards the new horizon.
…And don’t always shoot for a logical answer! The biggest things that we will experience in this universe are things we will never fully understand!
@brandonphillips, The recent time change is supposed to be the hardest on our circadian rhythms, plus, if it’s anything where you are like where I am, the weather is not being seasonally consistent at all, and that also messes with circadian rhythms.
