Hey guys, I’m new as well obviously. I’ve joined hoping I can surround myself with like-minded optimists because I’m tired of the negativity on other sites and in real life as well. I’m at a place in my life where I’d like to branch out and experience ideas, people, etc other than the ones that have been tying me down. If anyone has some good advice about this site or wants to talk, just message me (or however it works here)! I’m just getting my foot in the door :)
The names Zane. I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I think I belong here. Lol, jk, after lurking for a while I thought what the heck, I’ll make an account, seeing as this is one of my favorite sites to read articles and what not. I’m pretty much your average physical vessel manifested through the entirety of infinite creation, trying to find his way in life and grow spiritually, like the rest of you. Grateful for the site!
Really excited to actually begin contributing to the discussions on this site. I stumbled upon it (pun intended) in August of this year, and after reading a few blog posts immediately decided to sign up. I’m currently working as a freelance graphic, and web designer, and absolutely love the arts. I was raised in a Pentecostal Christian church, of which my grandfather was and is the pastor. I have always been obsessed with “truth”, and unfortunately could not find many answers amidst the indoctrination I was receiving. Hoping to become a valuable member of this community. Feel free to contact me. :)
My name is Brady. I’ve been a solid life…enjoyer (?) for a few years now, and I enjoy nothing more than helping other people to attain the same level of joy that I’ve realized in my own life.
This site is truly a diamond in the rough. I hope everybody else loves it as much as I do!
Hey,my name is Kevin,im 16 years old and from germany(thats why my english could be pretty bad) and i recently stumbled upon this site.
I was suprised that i found a site where many people shared similar beliefs with me,so i decided to join.
So I stumbled upon this site recently and have been on it since. My name is Michaela and I live in a suburban hell. As I am tired of societies opinions and judgments, finding this site has been entirely intriguing. I want to explore my mind and meet new people that view the glass half full!
Hi! I am new to the site, just joined about… 7 and a half minutes ago to be exact haha, this is a fantastic find for me as a christian (not any specific denomination, just a christian) who loves the chance to expand my world-view. A place where I wont be judged for my beliefs, and people will trust me not to judge them. I attempt to voice all of my opinions as well informed, interesting thoughts, which is quite an accomplishment as most of my thoughts are uninteresting and uninformed patchwork ideas that any sane person would reject on the spot. But then I have always believed that no great woman is entirely sane at any level, and I fully intend to be a great woman. However I will try to fish out some of my better thoughts out of my patchwork-pond-ponderings, and hopefully we can all be great friends! well at least I hope we can have great discussions, and maybe some entirely ridiculous ones, but that’s just all part of the fun of it now isn’t it? so greetings my dears! and have a very lovely existence ;)
Hi, i just discovered this site today and I just know it’s going to be great for me yet i’m shy and not really sure where to start so i’m taking things one step at a time.
I’m an artist/writer who’d just emerged from the prison of toxic relationships. I’m free now and just beginning my life, settling things down starting with financial freedom.
I’m looking to make new friends and perhaps travel the world someday.
Hopefully, i can meet some like minded people here :)
I love all the free thought and positive energy here. I can tell you about myself or I can ask you to see this http://alittleofred.com/. That’s that best I can say for myself and that I believe in following dreams and listening to the quite moments the universe provides us with!
I introduced myself on another board last week, but this one seems os much more official.
I’m a former fundamentalist Christian who has secretly left the faith. None of my friends know, which is kind tricky for me, because I was a bit of a mover in my tiny denomination. I was a street preacher, sidewalk evangelist, missionary to a Muslim country and Bible college teacher for a bit. Since none of my people knows, I still go around preaching and stuff.
So there I am. Glad to be here!
@letsbeinfinitemel, Swag. Welcome. Just saying now, if you’re going to hang out here, be ready for a lot of pompous and pretentious people. I’ve been on here for 2 days and I can’t tell you about the egos you’ll find here. I’m a philosopher and there’s a lot of fallacies going around here but there’s still a lot of good stuff here. And I’m guessing if you found yourself here, you’re not really afraid about talking some cool shit so this is the place to be.
Seeing as how this will be shown on the last page, no one will probably see this.
Hi, my name is Hunter. I’m into Philosophy, the universe, meditation, Greek Mythology, and helping people.
I am always here to help and converse if you need a friend.
Don’t be shy, just say hello!
My name is Brach I am a middle aged, middle income, middle of the road, regular white guy. I love life at this age, my brain has never been more sharp. I have never been more alert, more interested in things around me. Talk to me anytime about aliens, about real life stuff that nobody believes, I am a witness. Of course that sounds like bs, it isn’t but I am not selling anything, I am not a teacher, I am a student. The biggest and most important lesson that I have ever learned I am still learning, that is SELFLESSNESS. Every waking moment I try to be selfless. It is amazing how my life and attitude have changed for the better. I didn’t come up with it, it was suggested by “another’ But it is awesome in practice
Hi, welcome. Here is a link with some info about this site on it http://www.highexistence.com/topic/faq-how-to-use-highexistence/
It’s all about learning and teaching here, sharing insight and exploring new ideas or different ways of thinking. @highmarket, @donharrie,
Hey all, I’m new here as well. I have posted a few things here and there in the past day or so and realized It is about time I introduced myself to all you lovelies. I’ve stumbled past this part of internet many a time in a haze and always found comfort and inspiration. This time I decided to make it my home. My name is art, I’m twenty-three year old dude from Boston. I’m a seeker, a star gazer, earth feeler and a philosophy junkie. I try my best to keep my ego suppressed but I don’t let it stress me when I fail. It’s all part of my path, the path I have been one since I asked the question as a child. I’m all about puzzles, I see everything as a huge kaleidoscope jigsaw puzzle, only any piece can fit in with any other piece if it needs to, why should there be only one solution? My goal is to be a tool of enlightenment, not just for myself but for everyone when we are ready. Some of my heroes include carl sagen, carl jung, hunter thompson, bob dylan, the dalai lama and alan watts. I love to talk and share, I hope to get to know all of you and contribute whenever I can. Feel free to message me. Although I’m new here I feel like I have been a part of this all along. Love and peace : )
Hello you specks of cosmic dust,
I am Cristina and I am passionate about:
life — the tiny macromolecules that make us up, the amazing processes that occur on earth, mechanics (how life works)
love — the galaxy is an expression of me and everything (self-compassion), my awesome family and friends, my boyfriend
the unknown — philosophy, spirituality, new experiences.
I like to explore, create, and meditate + practice yoga everyday. I also like to dance hardcore at concerts (yeah, I’ll be that drunk chick who doesn’t give a shit if you’re not shaking your booty, too), building things (robots, programs, relationships), and practice more yoga! I enjoy listening to the Sex Nerd Sandra podcast while I work at my office job, hike/backpack my legs out until they fall out, and love to stuff my face with vegetables although please don’t assume I am a vegetarian because I crave a nice hamburger from time to time.
I’ve been a solid invisible HEthan for a year now and decided to give the forums a chance. Hopefully my engineering classes won’t keep me too occupied from discussing discussions with you all. :)
I’ve been visiting High Existence for around 6 months now and still haven’t gotten around to introducing myself. My name is Jamin. I live in Louisville, Kentucky but I came across HE when I was having a serious bout with depression while at college at Morehead State. I actually accidentally came across the website after my roommate introduced me to StumbleUpon. Greatest accident every to happen to me really. I’ve been using this site along with many others to help defeat my depression an live a more fulfilling life. I could go on for days about how essential HE was to changing my attitude about life and how it forced me to really evaluate who I really am and if I really loved the person on the inside. It wasn’t until I really looked at myself did I realize I wasn’t actually who I thought I was and with that knowledge, I can really say I love myself. Well that’s me, I look forward to meeting other HEthens. :)
I am Krishna from San Francisco currently having a mundane life and a 9-5 job . Recently I have actively started pursuing the reason for my existence and searching for the meaning of life . High existence has quite literally pulled in me with its articles and some of the discussions that I have come across here are quite amazing to say the least. I hope to be an active contributor and of course find answers to my questions and think more!
I just joined, this seems like a great place for inspiration and motivation from others who also want to live fully and happily. I am an artist (vfx, animation, painting, video, and a VJ) and like to immerse myself in the creative. I am childfree, practice HAES, am spiritual but not religious, and always interested in bettering both my own subjective experience of the world and that of those around me. Looking forward to what seems a more positive experience than many other internet localities. :D
