@Mime-I concur, but can’t grasp how every possibility can co-exist on the same planet at the same time. I can’t be here and there at the same time. My reference to infinite possibilities is with respect to belief, not what is. What is, is constantly changing, but at any one moment in time it just is what it is. We don’t necessarily understand it, we can apply beliefs to try and explain it, but at the end of the day it is what it is, not an infinite number is “is’s”. I can believe anything I want, but thinking it doesn’t make it so.
@Alex. My best friend sees spirits, most of the time like they are solid like flesh. I myself only feel them touch me and sometimes they knock things off my shelves but not viciously. I think the board makes people actually open themselves up to them and they are wanting for something to happen so it does.
Most people think nothing is going to happen and they don’t believe in it or they have no idea what they are getting themselves into.
@Dick, okay, well we know the earth goes around the sun, but only a handful of people actually know the path the earth takes. Does this make everyone else wrong? You take it too literally man. Concept of god=1 belief, Concept of no god=1 belief. So by the way I contort it, its now a 50/50 chance. :)
Have you folks ever heard about Spiritism? Well, you can learn something about that doctrine by taking a look at the links below:
Sorry Alex, your threads about the concept of god and religion do make sense to me and I agree with almost all of your ideas. I’m just saying that I saw it and experienced the Ouija board with my own eyes, it’s more convincing than any theory can ever be.
I just don’t understand why they can only manifest from a board though? Or where spells come from for these things. I’m curious to say the least, because I’ve heard people raving about this, but in all honesty, the people that always rave about the boards are those who…lack intelligence? They are usually ditzy girls at a slumber party. No offense at all, of course, I’m just speaking of my experiences.
CUUUUURSEEEEES. This reminds me of an episode of House M.D.. A group of kids were doing some shit and they called it a “secret club”.
“A secret club. What’s the secret, they’re all morons?” – House M. D.
Now I have to google this shit, because it seems interesting for my imagination. All the spirits I know are these
Ouija boards have the power to let us communicate, not out of the box boards, but old, dark wooden, boards, crafted by believers of use. If you truly believe it will work, than it just might. Once you use a real one, make sure you ALWAYS say goodbye to whatever it is your communicating with and that you NEVER take your hand off of the ocular until you say goodbye. I would HIGHLY recommend not using one, because you can attract something you don’t want to. If you do though, and when you ask is anyone here, and it goes to a number or symbol, say goodbye IMMEDIATELY! Malicious spirits and demons use numbers to represent themselves because they cannot speak the language of man. These things go back to ancient times in all faiths and beliefs. If you are a believer than the only way to get rid of something dangerous that wont go away, would have to be in Latin, because when the ouija board was created, it was created using Latin.
@Sea Monkey. Its all good dude, I don’t take offense. haha. I’m just being skeptical as I’ve never experienced any of this sort of thing. I’m definitely curious and have an open mind about it, but at the same time I’m lead to believe the experiences that happened aren’t connected to the physical board in any sense.
Again they think it’s exciting and they have no idea what they are doing or what they have put themselves up for. They can do things without any connection to a board and they do people just don’t notice. When people use a board they want it to happen, they are yearning for it. The spirits or whatever you want to call them think its funny and fun, but when you get in touch with something with a board it isn’t going to be something nice most of the time.
A spell similar to this one was orginated by the gnostic christians around 300 a.d. but more likely orginated even before that. This specific one uses the name of a gnostic deity form. They are old spells that are passed down.
People actually still believe in this shit? Complete waste of time..
@Mime-Touche. I guess what it comes down to for me is that I can’t reconcile my life experience with an infinite number of alternatives; it’s too grand for my little brain to navigate.
For example, lets say someone believes that if they don’t drink water they will live forever. In my life experience I would estimate that I would die within 3-4 days. I estimate that the same would apply to everyone on the planet. Are you really saying that, by your estimate, it is possible that there is someone on the planet that would live forever if they stopped drinking water? Or are you saying that somewhere at some time this condition will hold true?
@ Alex, Good man :)
I’m with you about the physical board, I think the board acts more like an invitation for spirits that don’t belong here. I’ve heard that it can also work with paper and letters on it. Maybe it’s just easier for the spirits to communicate if they have your permission.
I don’t recommend playing with it though, just youtube ‘ouija board experiences’, there are so many negative experiences out there – 99% of them can be fake, but you don’t want to be that 1%. I showed my friend at work this video because she brought the topic up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh4uK3YHsNQ and she said that is exactly what happened to her friend when they played with it except her friend passed out.
Seems like its an extension of the power of words. Considering the day and age we live in though, perhaps the words need to be rewritten, and more up-to-date? Or maybe music might work better. I haven’t heard of a spell working since 300 ad. haha
