That moment when you see someone for the first time, gaze into their eyes, and see their soul. It’s like you know them already but have never met in your life. That nostalgic feeling.. as if you suddenly remembered a dream that you had from a long time ago. It’s such a beautiful encounter. Two souls lost through time. And somehow found their way back to each other in the most perfect circumstance. Even for just a fleeting moment.
See I believe in reincarnation and past lives, same as a lot of your here I’m sure. I believe that a lot of people we meet or the ones who are in our lives at least are the ones we knew from our past lives. And the ones that we are drawn to, are the ones we have unfinished business with.
I’d just love to hear all your stories of this type of encounter and what came of it. So feel free to elaborate and share.
Thank you, I wish you all beautiful days ahead.

I’ve never had one. I’d rreally like to acccess mine somehow. Cos if I could get a glimpse of a life I had I might know what ancestry this body holds!!
I have been thinking about it. I havent really actually ever found anyone that on my wave before, part from my friend. But I dont know if hes a past life friend of mine. I think in my past lives (if I had any) I was pretty turned onto this shit, so I reckon a friend of mine would be the same but hes still quite immature/not a nutjob (ie: believing in all this metaphysical bullshit)
I would love to believe in reincarnation, its a beautiful concept… That souls just leap from body to body and never end their journey. Besides, it would really piece together stuff I encountered during a DMT trip. But, I don’t try to pretend that I have any clue about what happens after you die. My hard, agnostic-raised head needs factual evidence.
I think I believe in the concept of soul age. It’s a pretty interesting one that I toy with and ponder.
Granted, I’d never had a soul-to-soul connection (but hey, I’m not even out of high school yet) so I don’t have more to share than a feeling that there’s gotta be more than we can see out there.
I’ve had this happen with a couple of people. The first time was with my best friend Becky, (literally twin soul sister person). Before I ever met her I saw her picture in another friend of mine’s yearbook and I was really drawn to her and curious about her for some reason. I met her later on and we became best friends and to this day we can go almost an entire year without talking and when we do it’s like no time has passed. We read each other’s minds, jump from subject to subject in no comprehensible way yet stay on the same track, etc. I firmly believe we will be best friends for life. (and she has said she thinks we knew each other in past lives, lol). I don’t know if I actually believe in that or not.
This has happened a couple other times too, one time to a lesser degree where I saw someone and knew we would get along and then it turned out we did, and the most recent was a few months ago when I made eye contact with someone at a crowded party and felt it the strongest I ever have. He was visibly startled a bit and I knew and later confirmed he felt it too. There is without a doubt chemistry there that I’m just now getting to kind of explore.
This discussion reminds me of this movie coming out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmJVFOKaGUY
OT: I’ve never experiences this ever before, so I do not believe in past lives. My philosophy is I need to experience it in order to believe it. I think it is a possibility, as is anything in this universe in our point of view.
@stephaniekaitlyn, I definitely know what you mean, that sudden intense yet unexplainable connection to someone you’ve just met or have only “known” for a short time, yet it feels as if they’ve always been there. I’ve met a few people this last year who fit that description, feels like we’ve been friends, lovers or siblings in the past and the longer I talk with them, the more this idea and these feelings seem to validate themselves. it’s certainly a strange, but blessed occurrence meeting these people and feeling like no matter where they are in this world you can still find them, tune into their “energy signature” or whatever you’d call it, to send and receive love and support when it’s needed.
it seems to be a rare sort of gift (for lack of better word), and I often wonder how people can go through their entire lives without finding this connection, I don’t wanna call it luck that I’ve found these people out of the 7 billion that live on this planet, but I guess that’s what it boils down to. nevertheless though, I do greatly love and appreciate these people being a part of my life in whatever way, they’ve become a part of my spiritual circle, and I’m more than thankful of that
@crackedout6pack, I would have these types of experiences with strangers who I end up meet again later on.. a few I became good friends with, one became a lover. The most that has ever made an impact was when I first my best friend now. It was 5 or 6 years ago in high school when I first saw her face on a polaroid.. I had that same exact feeling that I had described. Like I knew her from somewhere. And a couple of years later she kept popping up on my Facebook.. I thought she was gorgeous and needed a model (I’m a photographer) so I messaged her. We did a couple of shoots and became very very close. Now she’s my best friend and I live with her. We swear that we were either sisters or lovers from a past life. We have so much in common. It’s pretty insane. We’re soul sisters.
Another person, one I can’t seem to get out of my head in particular was this guy I met a couple of months ago. Ok I’ll elaborate hahaha. I met him at my work. We looked straight at each others eyes and that intense feeling washes over me. We talked for a bit and he mentioned that he’s leaving for Peru and staying there for a month. Then almost two months later I see him again at my work. But I wasn’t completely sure if it was him or not because the first time I saw him it was dark and he was in his truck. But I knew I had to make sure and ask him. We constantly kept glancing at each other. Then he finally comes over and we talked.. stared at each other saying nothing for several seconds haha then I finally ask him if he’s the guy who went to Peru. He said yes, so I told him that I was leaving for Costa Rica in 2 days, exchanged names, shook hands and I felt that feeling.. it was so intense. Apparently when I was in Costa Rica he came a few times looking for me and hoping I was back. I haven’t seen him though he hasn’t come in. I was running at the beach a couple of days I ago and I swear I saw him running the opposite side of me. He didn’t see me though. It’s weird because I’ve been having dreams of him lately and I keep thinking about him. I know it’s odd but I don’t know… never had an encounter with that intensity before. Especially with someone I’ve only talked to briefly a couple of times. And I know he felt it too.
@tangledupinplaid21, Same exact thing with my best friend right now, like I said we’re soul sisters!
@blankey, I actually just saw that trailer yesterday! It blew my mind!!!
@hlalhabattu, I think everyone has the potential to experience that, but they ignore it in a way and brush it off like it’s nothing. Maybe they’ve had that feeling but wasn’t sure what to think of it. You know what I mean? Because their not as sensitive to it as others. But man it’s incredible. We’re all intrinsically connected with one another and it’s just so damn beautiful.
@stephaniekaitlyn, I had a past life profile done last year. Its when someone goes into the akashic records and gives you information about your one of your past lives that is relevent to the presesnt.
My name was Peter Hall Soffel, I moved from England to the New World America to join the revolution and experience the new freedoms America offered, and was killed in a skirmish.
@stephaniekaitlyn, The most intense thing that has ever happend to me was with one of my best friends. Tyrelle, we met only just over a year ago, through a mere coinsidence. I was actually looking for a bag of weed, and I had just moved to a new city, and my friend from the town I lived in previously, knew this girl who could hook me up, so i met up with her, and earlier that day, she ran into her friend, tyrelle, so we were all hainging out. and within the first three seconds of knowing him, i felt I met him before. we had this crazy connection like we were long lost pals or something. It was insane! from that day, we hung out everyday all day for three weeks, until he moved away. and since then we have only seen eachother twice, but every now and then we call eachother and just talk usually for hours. I have never met anyone who I just hungout with for three weeks, and they became a best friend who I make sure to keep in contact with , even if I dont see them for long long periods of time. Its just unexplainable
@tanner, I have a friend who has done a past life regression too. She said she was a man, a writer in the 19th century and she saw her “his” life from birth to death. She’s currently writing a book and she believes that she’s been writing this novel for a reason, to finish what she started in her past life. It’s pretty crazy. I’d love to do that but not sure if I would pay that much money. You can tap into that through Ayahuasca, DMT, etc.
@mount0zen, I used to have the same repeated dreams too especially when I was younger.
@kellah, Those type of friendships are always the best. When you don’t see each other for a while and it’s still always the same no matter what. That’s when you know there’s a much deeper connection within both souls.
I’m intrigued by the idea. My problem with it is this: so reincarnation is the ‘soul’ moving from one life to another, do all living things have a ‘soul’ then? And you have an equal chance of becoming another human as you do a flower or dung beetle? If you move from different life form to different life form wouldn’t that require that there is a finite number of life forms on the planet? That could never change if everything is just moving to a different being, and the amount of dying life forms would equal the amount of new life forms? Or how would it work if you believe you just go from human life to human life, because I think most would agree that there are more humans on the planet now than there were 1000 years ago. Or can new ‘souls’ be created? Since there’s no way to know, how could you ever tell if you were on your 1st incarnation (as a new soul) or you’re the oldest soul there is? Am I misunderstanding the concept? That’s just the part that’s always gotten me. Also it just seems highly unlikely, as I’ve seen no concrete evidence for this.
@smalls, From what I understand, souls only incarn into one type of being, so our souls will always use the human body as opposed to any other animal on Earth. Our souls use the human body as a vehicle for experience in the physical world. We live many different lives, learning and experiencing more, with the ultimate goal being to reach a stage where we are on the same plane with our creator, becoming creators ourselves.
Lets see who i used to be according to various sources (some of them have said these names more then once so there has to be something there ) : Fenrir , Judas, Thomas Jefferson, A Mesopotamian priest, A sailor on a ship in the 1600s oh and recently i found out i’m an arch angel and the #9 of the 12 timeless first souls.
(oh btw, apparently i was framed, Paul was the piece of shit not Judas )
@tanner, Then how does that work with population growth? Even in just the last 10 years the world pop. has grown by almost 1.5 billion people. Compared to 100 or 1000 years ago the growth has been tremendous. Where do all these new souls come from? And what will happen to them when world population begins to decline?
