People In Dreams You Have Never Met
hey guys, im just wondering what all you have to say on this.
Have you ever had a dream, where you meet someone, in your dream, but have never met them in real life? I keep having dreams with all complete strangers in my waking life, but i know them very well in my dreaming life. I am so confused as to why im having dreams about people i have never even met before. has this happened to any of you?

Every face that you see while dreaming you have seen in real life at least once. It is someone who you just don’t recognize. Maybe you met them 7 years ago passing in a school hallway or 7 hours ago at the store. Our brains are a lot better at remembering faces than we think!
This man is a huge mindfuck… also i strongly doubt that it’s a marketing scam as they aren’t really promoting any products… at all… so :P also it’s true that you can’t see a face in your dreams that you’ve never seen before, but read the theories section on thisman.org it features a lot of interesting theories – but perhaps it’s possible to put a face together from different faces you’ve seen? or maybe it has to do with collective memory/conscience?
A FEW CLARIFICATION ON DREAMING UNKNOWN PERSONS
Annihilation of time and space takes place in a body with pure consciousness, though the seer does not know how and why this is happening. Unless he gets God-the-preceptor within his body he remains in dark and thinks that it is something supernatural. God is within his body and without his grace the seer will have no idea that He is within his body.
God is within the body of the human being and the Universe is within God, so the universe is within the human body including past, present and future. In a pure conscious mind annihilation of space and time take place and for that reason one sees a new unknown place, unknown person and future or past.
I have extensive experiences on annihilation of space, and time through my divine dreams exceeding 700 which started since 1959 when I was 18 after coming in contact with this man named Jibankrishna or Diamond. Not only it happened in my case, but it happened with myriads of people irrespective of religions, casts, races, sexes and ages since the first part of twentieth century and still this phenomenon of seeing and getting this man as God-the-Preceptor is continuing even after his demise in 1967.
For the last one year I have been discussing in details with numerous examples and amazing facts about this phenomenon in my website (www.mydivinedreams.com) as well as in about 70 websites. There is another related website (www.jibankrishna.com) where one can know something about this man.
Lastly I wish to share my experiences through this website along with many others who have experienced this amazing phenomenon.
@taurean10, I heard that too. I do and don’t believe it. . . . I think like 98% of the time this happens. . .but for the other 2% we are seeing people that are not actually people. . . or maybe people we will meet in the future. Just think. . our brain can create totally fiction characters. . things that there is no way we could have ever seen. . like monsters
Sounds more like a musing. “What if the human brain can’t actually imagine new faces and everyone we’ve seen in a dream we’ve already seen in a crowd, on the street, or on tv somewhere in our lives”
wasn’t there already another thread just like this one??
@sisyphus, I think there are ways even if we can’t wrap our heads around them – I don’t get how we can take pictures of little black holes that we made but they seem to be doing it anyways over at CERN :) – perhaps it is possible to isolate the electric impulses that are sent when we recognize something and then connect that to when e.g. a lucid dreamer sees e.g. ‘This man’ although i get where you are comming from, it’s just this really makes a lot of sense to me :) so why not simply believe this until further notice? ;)
When I was younger I’d have these dreams about this one guy, he always had dark hair and blue/green eyes. In each dream he’d always be a different age, but always older than me. I had at least 15 dreams with him in them. The dreams were almost never pleasant but I always figured he just represented some part of myself I was having a hard time confronting in my waking life. And then one day about four years ago, I was sitting in the car in heavy traffic with my mom and this car rolled up next to us and the guy from my dreams was driving the car. I haven’t had any more dreams with him in them since but I can’t help but wonder if in some alternate universe we are more than strangers to each other. I personally believe strangers in our dreams either represent our selves or are people we will meet or have met in another life.
I had already dream about unknown people in my dreams, even had them like a boyfriends or like friends.
They can be people that our unconscious create or maybe we met with people from another part of our planet or from others dimensions throught our meetings in astral dimension x) (we go into the astral when we’re sleeping).
@taurean10, @flightfacilities, I’ve heard that before but it’s not entirely true. Yes, most of the people you dream about you have seen before because the brains capability to store information is immense. Side fact, If you actually knew how to control and hose your brain fully, you would be able to recall almost any bit of informatin you have ever learned read or seen, bbecause it’s all in there somewhere. But in your dreams, you can and do create new faces based off you inner desires. You create entire world’s, bits and parts that you have seen or learned put together into fantastical lands. Faces are more of the same, created by your mind into your ideal faces to fit the dream you are having.
Apparently you almost always (or maybe always) dream of people you have see before. even if it is a random person you passed on the street and barely noticed, subconsciously your brain remembered their face. I often dream of people I met that day or saw that day. I often have dream of TV characters if I watch an episode before bed. By using a dream journal I found that people in my dreams turned out to be people a saw even just for a second at a party the day before and later became friends with.
I read somewhere once that the brain can’t invent new faces, or something to that degree (dumb down, of course) so it uses people you’ve just seen on the street; @yoinkie, I think both theories kinda work being that the brain doesn’t invent a new face but applies a “tag” based off desires.
Makes since to me. What’d you think?
@taurean10, Interesting theory, but I wonder why you think so? You do not think it is possible for our minds to create images of things we have never seen in our waking life?
So then where does creativity come from? And how is it possible we invent new things we have never seen before? Why could that not be in dreams either?
