Yesterday I watched a video about alchemy and I was told that the secret to Alchemy that the Alchemical masters of old were afraid to share, was that reality is created by your own mind. The idea is that when you can affect the universal blueprints on a higher plane of existence, that are essentially thoughts, you can affect the reality around you. Supposedly it takes some kind of spiritual attunement that I don’t fully understand. I wonder if anyone else has heard or thought about this kind of thing. It sounds to me kind of like The Secret, which I am starting to believe recently. At least in part. However what this video was saying is that if you knew how you could basically manifest anything you wanted. That was my interpretation at least. That would be like Jesus level though I guess. It’s interesting to consider though what heights you could reach if you only put the time and effort into finding the truth about our own potential as human beings. I personally would like to try and take better control of my own reality. I think it’s a progress that we all go through. Some people figure it out faster than others I guess. I’m a bit unsure where to start though. What kinds of things would I want to bring into my life? What kind of things would you want to bring into yours? |

@peacefulmotivators, read every self help guide/book/pamphlet/blog you can, and then listen. Listen to everything around you. And then contemplate what you have learned when the day is over, separate the shit from the gold, and immerse the gold into your whole being. Then mess up, and learn from your mistakes. Never stop learning. The moment you stop, is the moment you give up on yourself. |

This is actually very true. Even scientists of today agree that your mind has a tremendous influence on the world around you. Just by looking at a molecule and perceiving it forever changes that molecule forever. We even have computer security that uses this same principle. Your thought is more powerful than anything else. But keep in mind, the only thing worth bringing into this life, if you don’t already have it, is happiness. Cars, houses, and even walking on water are very insignificant compared to happiness. |

I think by understanding our own conscious thoughts and how we interpret the world around us, we can figure out what we truly desire in life. (thats how i interpreted what you said) this sounds similar to Existentialism , “the absurd” (the only meaning in life is the meaning you create yourself.) and “authenticity” (finding oneself and living in accordance with that self) |
