I need reasons to support ‘Why Students Should Not Wear Uniforms’ in a disputation. So I want something that acceptable and helpful. |

It discourages individuality. It simplifies us, which is anti-education. Honestly requiring uniforms in school is one of the most disgusting and retarded ideas I have had the pleasure of never being a part of. |

I wore a school uniform for two years and it was fucking shite. Australia has such poor education standards as well. I did fuck all for the final 4 years of school I did here and still got through without any struggle whatsoever. Poor system with outdated, retarded ideas of what it means to receive an education. They honestly spent more time making sure everyone was wearing their uniforms properly. |

I think being able to express your personality through the way you dress helps the students to feel comfortable at school. Uniforms create an idea of obligation and formality, but those do not create a pleasant mood… and school should definitely be a pleasant place, for the sake of better learning! |

@g3ndim, It is dehumanizing; we are all expressive and chaotic beings, a reflection of this whole wiggly mess called nature/reality whatever. Conforming means forfeiting freedom. They cut away the basic emotional bounds between people and replace those bounds with formal artifice, uni-forms and hierarchies. |

@g3ndim, Do you also need counterarguments? Cause I can come up with some if you want. |

If it is a private school they have every right to enforce a uniform dress code. And as an individual you have every right not to apply and attend that school. |

@filipek, I think so,things like counter arguments. In my country, for students who want to follow a succesful way there is always a way to reach qualified education. This uniform thing is completely new and I think it will be first step. |
