She wants to fight with me

I don’t know what to do, I used to have feelings for this girl, but as time flies by we’ve grown apart, and now we don’t see each other anymore. Then she suddenly starts talking to me over the net, that she is hurt and that she wants to fight with me. But I don’t want to fight with her, I just had feelings for her, but it never came to it, because I was too shy. And now she’s mad at me for that. So now I just ignore her, and hope things will just stop, but I don’t know if I’m making the right decision to do so, or should I confront her? I mean, I don’t want to hit a girl you know, but I don’t know what she wants from me. Besides, I think I already moved on, so there is really nothing left to say, even if I had feelings for her in the past, but did not express it to her. She wants to try to be friends, but I don’t really see the point of that, because we don’t see each other on a regular base anymore, and I don’t know if I want to be friends with someone I had feelings for. Now she’s mad at me telling me that I’m a jerk and that I exploited her feelings and all that shit. I just didn’t want to hurt her, now she’s blaming me for hurting her. Besides, she hurt me too, but she doesn’t even understand how to just let go. She texted me constantly and did not just leave me alone. I told her a while ago I didn’t want to have anything to do with her just so she would back off, and now she wants to fight with me. Whats wrong with her? Why can’t she just leave me alone and get on with her life? What can I do about it? Should I confront her or leave it all together?
