Any chance you could pick me up in England? Just kidding, by the way if you think $4 a gallon is bad, the price of a gallon of petrol in the UK is the equivalent to $9. |

Ive actually got quite alot of friends in the UK who would do this too. I lived in london for afew years. |

So there is no plan? I don’t really have too many skills to offer so what could I do? |
|
| Kevin
You dont need skills! The plan is, to get a big change of scenery, and meet as many people as possible. And if we can portray some sort of positive/helpful info to people along the way through sheer badassedness(which is taught in the blog), then hell ya! I originally wanted to do this on foot, or bike. But talking to alot of people, i think we would lose alot to blisters lol. In order for me to use the trailer, i would probably have to buy it. And we have nothing to tow it. But if i can pull something out of my ass(i have a tendancy to do that), we will have a car that seats 4, +whatever the trailers getting pulled by, the trailer itself, and maybe one more car that we would be picking up in Tallahassee. Thats like 15 – 20 people’s worth of traveling space. :O If everyone throws a little towards gas, we could hop all around the country, hitting all the cool places where people gather. Spreading HEness to all we can! haha. Ive got alot to do before i can even think about it, but this is definitely something that myself and many others want to do. |

^Plus, we could start a HEthen commune, or several. these could be waypoints for hethens to join or leave caravans like this as needed, as opposed to getting sick of the road and nowhere to go. I’d still be down with traveling with even this for a bit, though i’d prefer on foot travel. |
|
| Kevin
Looking at the map, if we have someone or something to do in mobile, i see a route starting to take shape. As for the people in Europe, you would probably have to wait for the movement to go international(a real possibility) to hop on. Unless you want to fly over for it. lol I have people in the UK and other places who would do this too, but i would never recommend you leave home to travel under their directions. They get lost in their own cities lol. |
|
| Kevin
@Kyle, thats a good idea. Setup shop somewhere quiet here and there. Once i hit the road, ill probably never stop, so people WILL need to get off at somepoint. Im not really leaving much behind, but i know other people have things like family and school that they are tethered to. So thats a really practical idea. We could even find really secluded spots, and setup self sustainable pit stops for people! |
|
| Kyle
hell yeah sounds awesome. ive thrown this out before but, check out the rainbow gatherings. huge masses of non-HEthens every year in a random national park in the U.S., would be a great place to meet up with the caravan or leave it at specific destinations. |

RV and call it a day. (Or school bus) |

Rainbow gatherings look awesome! Ill definitely look into the bus as well. Maybe do some sort of bio-diesel conversion or something. Slap some solar panels on it, buy a wireless hotspot, and weel be good to go! :) Ill make that my goal. |

I should be free this summer unless i get a job or decide to do something like that. When I get out of college I’m going to be a traveling writer. I’ll be always on the road once I get out of school in a year or two |

@Issac sounds amazing dude! ill eventually be able to go to world gatherings, but im sticking with the USA yearly gatherings for now. I love how they go on all over the world |

Sounds like a hot target for cops. They like to pull people with ideals such as yours over. |
|
| Kyle
Hence end the war on drugs. A point made by Alan Watts was that the police force should be respected, and be respectable. The war on drugs has made them into a sort of enemy of a portion of the population, which is a very important factor in law enforcement. To make drugs legal, or at least a public health issue and not a crime, would make police the friendly watchman once again, and you wouldn’t have any of this quota meeting, drug-stereotyping, or even planting drugs on innocent citizens. |
