I know other people have posted stuff about this… I just wanted to share my experience more because of how I felt about it after it happened.

My boyfriend has to get up at 4:30 am to get ready for work, so every night I have to pretty much force myself to fall asleep at around 9 or 10. I do this so our sleep schedules are similar. It takes me around an hour to actually fall asleep, I usually try not to think about the things I have to get done and try to have happy visualizations so that I can fall asleep with a happy thought not day-to-day stresses.
Two nights ago it was around 9:30 when we decided to call it a night. our bed is pushed against the wall and I usually sleep next to the wall and he sleeps on the free side closer to the door. Well this night I ended up sleeping on “his side” for some odd reason. He fell asleep right away like he always does, and I was having my usual struggle trying to shut my brain up. I started to get ridiculously hot so I decided to move so that I would be laying next to his feet. I was starting to finally doze off and that’s when things got weird.
My heart was starting to race, I was laying on my stomach so I could hear it. I turned on my back but then I could feel blood pumping to my brain, it kept getting louder and louder. so I finally turned on my stomach again and I began to feel this sensation like my whole body was vibrating. I open my eyes and I saw myself floating off the bed into the wall closest to my feet. I thought to myself: “There’s no way this is happening right now.” I was letting it happen and then I thought: “Okay well if I can fly I’m going to fly”. I moved my feet off the wall and I got launched to the other side of the room. Then I opened my eyes and I was laying on the bed on my stomach. I took a deep breath and I closed my eyes again. This time I started to dream but I knew I was dreaming immediately. I was walking down a street and all these faceless men kept passing me by. I knew I could control it, I knew I could change it, but I didn’t. I opened my eyes and moved back up to my original position and while doing so noticed a peculiar darkness in my room. Like evil creepy feeling.
I laid down and made a little fort with the covers so I couldn’t look around the room. Then I heard my door open. Slowly and very loudly. I knew someone did it and someone was coming in but I tried my best to keep my eyes closed. Then I got anxious. It felt so real, I wanted to know who it was. So I looked, and in the middle of the room there was a figure standing there. I panicked and hid back behind the fort. I peeked again and there he was, sitting on the futon in my room. I had never seen him before in my life. He was extremely tall, had a camo backpack (military style) and had a yellow tank top and jean shorts on. He was staring straight into the wall. I hid again. Shortly after I felt him sitting on the bed next to me. His weight pulling me in. I could feel my boyfriend laying next to me, I could hear him breathing but when I tried to get his attention I couldn’t move. I opened my eyes slowly and there he was looking at me from the corner of his eye. He started talking but I couldn’t hear him I could only see his lips move. Then he got mad. He got up and started to freak out. He looked like he was screaming, I still couldn’t hear him. I was finally able to close my eyes again and after a few couple seconds I was able to move. I shook my boyfriend and woke him up. I was scared of the fact that I really thought someone was in my house but no one was there. The room didn’t seem dark anymore. My boyfriend told me to calm down and we went back to sleep.
The next morning I told him everything. He said he kept waking up to check on me all night long because I kept moving around and he knew I was having nightmares because of my facial expressions and how sweaty I was. He said any time he woke up he never saw me laying next to his feet. So I’m not even sure if I even did at all.
To be honest I kind of hope it happens again. I think that this subject is very interesting and I heard about it before in a documentary of people that thought they were abducted by aliens when that happened to them. That would be some really scary shit haha. The lucid dreaming and floaty feeling I got right before the scary part were really cool though. It’s just weird to think back at how I wasn’t surprised at all that it was happening… I was just like “Okay this side of the bed makes me fly I’m going to move over there so I can sleep.”
I just can’t stop thinking about that man how everything seemed so real.

that’s trippy. You went into an astral projection state that you couldn’t control because you’re not conscious in the mind, body, and spirit yet. And the things you saw were a manifestation of your own thoughts. Try again, but have a clear mind. I’ve been in the sleep paralysis state for a couple of times now(trying to be more spiritual atm), felt vibrations, seen things, but I’ve never flew. I’ve always woken myself up to a point because I feel like I’m not ready yet.

sounds like a sweet experience. especially from the “not trying” perspective. most people that are trying to lucid/astral spend months every night trying to have the experience you had on accident. consider yourself lucky :) you should do some more research into it if you want to develop it as a skill. I would suggest reading up on http://www.dreamviews.com/forum.php Its a forum around lucid dreaming and anything sleep/dream/sleep paralysis. you could probably find out everything you wanna know in terms of information and techniques on there. hope this helps!
