I started doing some reading on Carl Jung last night and came across his ‘Red Book’ and beliefs on the existence of spirit guides. My father has described having a guide exactly like Jung described it for years so I have no doubt that they exist. Does anyone have experience in connecting with spirit guides? I’m very curious about the topic and most websites on it are full of BS and advertisements. |

I’m also very interested in spirit guides and wish I were more advanced on this. I have read really good books to garner information on the topic. I once mediated and received the name “Ted” but that was it. |

Read up on early 19th and 20th century metaphysical masters such Edger Cayce, Ruth Montgomery, Joseph Campbell and brilliant minds that self-actualized such as Albert Einstein, Thoreau, Erik Eriksen (and his wife Joan Eriksen) and so on. |

i spend alot of time with nature, and one time i was on the hill between the pennsylvania game lands and my mom and dads farm. In a clearing with scattered brush sitting next to a bush. And down twenty feet in front i saw from the shoulder back a big cat. It looked out of place in the daylight Its fur shined and was all black. i only saw it for about two seconds, but as it was disapearing into the brush it walked slowly and carefully. I was thinking this cat is as tall as a german shepard. its tail hung strait down but was curled at the end. I immediately thought this is impossible, after that I like to think that it was a spirit that was a kind of reflection to show me about myself, like a kindred spirit |

@Jordan: yes; every person has a spirit guide…to connect with yours…clear your mind and introduce yourself…simply by saying…hello; i am jordan…then, listen…if; they feel you are being sincere…they will give you their name :D |

Everyone has spirit guides and everyone whose passed on that was close to you is always with you! Loved ones who’ve passed on tend to stay near because they have a love for you that will never end. They feel happiest being with their family and will do their very best to protect you. There are many occasions that I feel my boyfriends father around me while im with him, which is such an awesome feeling. |

Mario, are you part American Indian? Have you studied their core values, belief systems an/or philosophies? We need to go back to 7th Generation thinking and living. Seventh Generation living requires we live by the following: “How will what I do today effect the 7th generation from now”. Read Chief Seneca, if you haven’t already. There’s an indigenous peoples/American Indian quote I have lived by since raising my children and as environmental activist/advocate for many, many years in Rockland County, NY: “We don’t inherit the earth from our fathers but rather borrow it from our children”. |

Spirit guides. So ever since I did shrooms, weed makes me hallucinate (Which is quite a good thing). And time I was having a kind of “ganja-induced lucid dream” (It was pretty much a hypnagogic state) I got to a state where I could ask my sub conscious to show me things. When I asked about my spirit animal, I saw a bunch of herons flying across my field of vision. It was really neat. |

@Cat, that site rings especially true for me. I see those numbers all of the time and have experience turning off street lights as well. Please do report on your experience with the CD! @Chris, that is AWESOME. I’m envious of you, man. I’ve done shrooms 6 or 7 times and weed still does the same old thing to me. |
