If everyone in the world was intelligent, non-brainwashed, enlightened, perceptive, and knowledgeable, you wouldn’t really be “more” intelligent than them. It’s almost like if there was no yin, there’d be no yang. So Hethens, take that into account when you’re so angry everyone is stubborn. In the least cockiest sense of this; I feel much more superior and intelligent than all my friends (I’m 18), and they can actually see that because I’m the only one that constantly eats healthy, identifies with a spiritual/metaphysical world, and kind of understands everything more than anyone around me. As depressing as it is not being able to find someone similar to me, I kind of enjoy that social aspect everyone throws on me, being “the smart kid.” I may sound a bit egotistical, but honestly I am the least cocky/flashy person and I never brag about anything I do. Its nice to finally put this in writing.

Being stubborn isn’t a bad thing. Stubborn people achieve a lot. If you’re concerned about cockiness and how you feel all the time, it may become a problem. And the problem about bragging is not that people do it, it’s that not everyone knows how. The more you compete, the more you’ll care about winning the most pointless argument.
