Too Strange to Be Made up

So I try to read some of the news everyday. At least two full articles and several editorials or shorter news stories. There are some that are just too strange and thought provoking to not share. So I thought I’d make a post for these. And feel free to add your own.
The results of this "study", if you could call it that, found that, not only was the massive 6.2L V8 producing fewer hydrocarbons than the tiny 1.4L 4-cylinder, but it was actually ejecting fewer hydrocarbons than the surrounding air; the engine’s emissions system was ‘scrubbing’ the air of hydrocarbons! Not by much, mind you, but still. The tiny I4? Three times as many hydrocarbons!

Gives one pause to consider what good they really are doing for the environment by opting out of that big hunk of American Iron for the tiny conservative European model. No?

I’m not that surprised. There’s so much horror-propaganda about this stuff, and none of it makes much sense. The emission issue with ordinary cars is greatly exaggerated.

I always thought that bigger vehicles got a bad name for horrible gas milage. That raptor is a tuned up truck, but I know it consumes more gas than the fiat.

However, diesels have to be horrible for the environment.

You should read the article that suggests dinosaur farts actually caused global warming. I havnt read it but it makes me think maybe human farts are causing it too!
