Hey man, to start things off, I just want to say it’s good to hear that you didn’t let their laughter get you down. Anyway I wouldn’t exactly say that’s “party conversation” but more of a stoner-circle topic. People at parties basically want to talk about stuff that you’d want to drink to: things to celebrate, crazy stories, stuff that makes you feel good and happy to be alive. Alcohol allows you to let go of your hangups and just be real with yourself for a few hours. The normal social rules are put on hold for a while. I know you didn’t ask for my advice but I’d figure I’d share, since I’ve wondered similar things before. Plus, I’m on my second tall coffee. Normal stuff that trips me up? Oh hey more coffee… |

Yes! I understand what you mean. I have had so many experiences just in the last year of thinking about what a symbol really means during the course of an average day. What does a particular item mean to a person and how is it different for different people? I never thought that way before. Now I can’t help it! |

Yes! And this is why farts will always be funny! To whoever mentioned our love of boxes; I remember a comedian talking about the madness that is the butter dish. We build a box to live in to escape the cold But yes, I love this kind of talk. I know it isn’t party talk so I, also, try to keep it to myself but none of it really makes sense. When you get down to asking why the most univerally accepted facts of life are the way they are instead of being another way…you’re on a lifelong quest for truth. Now you’ve gone and done it! ;P |

Ah yeah, this happens a lot. And what makes me trip out more is the fact that no one else seems to be. |
